5 stars "Do you two go steady?
Curly, Larry, and Moe star in A Bird in the Head, a film where the boys wind up in an insane scientist's lair. He wants Curly's brain to implant into an ape's body to create a formidible monster. The boys have no idea what is going on, and just like in Dopey Dicks, the film centers on a wild goose chase when they figure it out.

Dizzy Pilots is a gem of a short. The "Wrong Brothers" are contracted by the military to create an airplane for service. TThe rare occurance of Moe getting his just desserts is highly entertaining. He falls into a tub filled with melted rubber and is blown up like a balloon and floated around the room. The parts with the boys in the airplane with Curly tearing it apart in the air are hilarious and even Larry gets a chance to shine with a few funny lines.

Three Sappy People finds the Stooges at a high class party mistaken as excellent psychologists. The family they are to treat is reminicent of that in My Man Godfrey. They're absolutely looney but get the best treatment the Stooges can think of- a hilarious all-out food fight.

4 stars A Bird in the Dizzy Pilot People,
A BIRD IN THE HEAD is an interesting short. It's the first short made by Edward Bernds, even though he really started with MICRO-PHONIES. Nothing remarkably special about this short. The plot of this was reused in DOPEY DICKS.

DIZZY PILOTS is a better short. So great scenes of the Stooges flying their plane. The rest isn't nearly as good. My only complaint is that the last five minutes is reused from BOOBS IN ARMS (1940). It seemed forced that they had to do that. The stock footage seemed tacked on.

THREE SAPPY PEOPLE- An excellent Three Stooges short. This short is remembered for the Stooges first food fight, though the first one really occured in SLIPPERY SILKS. This is quite funny. The cream puff fight is the highlight. This is the Stooges' last 1930's short, and one of their best.

This tape starts out rough, but gets better.
