A helpful tool for health care professionals
As a nutritionist, this video has been extremely helpful to me. It has broadened my understanding of the physiological and emotional changes that women experience during this stage of life. In addition, the information is presented in a clear and straightforward manner - making it a great resource for my clients.

Only provies general info regarding menopause!
I found the video to be a disappointment. Especially after reading the wonderful reviews it received. If your doctor has already explained the basics of menopause, this is not the video for you. The video does not provide any techniques or suggestions in dealing with menopause, how menopause might prpgresess etc. I was hoping for more in depth information and what I got was a refresher on what I already knew.

Very Helpful-Super Informative
Having recently seen this video, it helped me to understand what my mother had been going through. I wish we had this video a few years ago, it would have improved our relationship greatly. The video covers the changes women go through at this important time in their lives. It explains physical and emotional changes that many women experiance. Then it goes on to offer many ideas and solutions for dealing with these changes, Naturally!! I would have bought this for my mother, if it had only been available. It would have improved this, sometimes, difficult time for us both.

Excellent for helping to understand how to appraoch menpause
I saw this video with my wife. As a husband of a woman going through menopause now I was very impressed by all the helpful information it contains. I particularly liked the tone of the information given, which was factual and useful, and also inspiring. After seeing the video I felt that more comfortable with the process of menopause and much more positive about it. It helped me and my wife communicated better about what she has been going through. I highly recommend it.

A sensitive discussion of an important subject
As a physician and psychiatrist, I found this video to be an extremely helpful and sensitive discussion of facts about menopause and women's emotional responses to it. The information conveyed is excellent. Women approaching or in menopause will gain especially from the group discussion with some candid, warm, and engaging women describing their physical and emotional experiences during this time of great change. Parts of the video are like an open discussion between friends gathered around a coffee table, speaking to each other about their personal experiences which we know are also universal. The discussion is greatly facilitated by the gentle encouragement of the group leader, and the video is narrated by an older woman who "has been there".

I would also recommend this video to a woman's partner and other family members, who might gain from an understanding of this normal progression about which some may feel anxious and confused. It is a useful 20 minutes.
