Avg Customer Rating:
Product Description: They're ugly, stupid, rude, crudely drawn, and absolutely mind-numbing--which has always been the source of Beavis and Butt-head's appeal. Hard Cash collects eight cartoons in which the killer Bs are out for cash (though, unfortunately, none of the Burger World episodes are included). If this were any other cartoon, the plot summary of any of the episodes here would be: Beavis and Butt-head get jobs, hilarity ensues as they try to fit in. The, er, genius of B&B is that hilarity never actually ensues--in fact, not much of anything ensues. There's a bunch of butt jokes, a lot of semipubescent giggling, and the rampant mundaneness of everyday existence in a dead-end life, which is why the series was one of the best send-ups of television this side of Chris Elliott's Get a Life. Collected here, they tend not to work as well, though; without the--dare we even think it?--ambition that held Beavis and Butt-Head Do America together, a themed collection of episodes lacks any real cohesiveness. It is always nice to see MC 900 Ft Jesus' video for "If I Only Had a Brain" make an appearance, however, and B&B's transfixion by the song's infinitely catchy hook is one of their finest moments. --Randy Silver

"Introducing, the Butt-Scratcher 2000!"
Pretty good video! The episode, The Inventors was the best one in my opinion. The Yard Sale episode was pretty good, too.
If you want to see pretty good episodes of Beavis and Butthead, then BUY THIS TAPE NOW!!!!

This was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. If you have ever wanted to see Beavis and Butt-Head copy money and try to use it this is the #1 choice for you to choose. This was my first video to buy in the collection and it is one of the funniest in the collection. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it only lasts 50 whole minutes but that should not alter you from buying it. It is a must have in the collection.

Beavis & Butthead compared to South Park?
I find the Amazon editorial's choice of comparison ridiculous. Beavis & Butthead old and tired? Since when are Stone & Parker original? If it wasn't for Cartman, South Park would be anything but watchable. Episode after episode of same old toilet humor, and B&B are the ones that are tired? I've been a big fan of the timeless duo, and I also started watching South Park when it first came out. I couldn't keep myself interested for more than 13 episodes - the show is ridiculously repetitive, if not downright unfunny at times (Mech Barbra Streisand? Yeah, whatever... "They killed Kenny!"? Yawn). Conversely, I'm totally clueless as to why Judge never made any movies following Office Space (easily one of the funniest movies and truest social commentary ever made). Anyway... This video would have been one-of-a-kind, if the music video's weren't missing. The videos were an integral part of the show - especially if you think back to such gems as If I Only Had A Brain (MC 900ft Jesus) and No More I Love You's (Annie Lennox). Taking out the videos should be considered a crime, though given volatile copyright issues, I'm not too surprised. One can only hope that a comprehensive episode collection will someday be released.
