This thing really works
I bought a new work truck with no bells and whistles. It had a good AM/FM radio but no way to play MP3 music. After looking all over the internet for a solution, I came across this device. What caught my eye was the compact styling and the fact it plugged right into the lighter socket. Great, no batteries to deal with. And best of all it works. It has traveled between Alabama and North Carolina with no interference from local FM radio stations. Friends are amazed when I show them a tiny SD card, inset it into the device and out comes great music for hours. To be sure it received a good "burn-in", I left it plugged in for the first 30 days. There is no on/off switch and I don't like the idea of taking it out and plugging it back in so I just leave it in and on all the time. It has been in the socket now over 90 days and still going strong. It requires little power, so it will not drain your battery. For the money you can not beat this little jewel.

Awesome transmitter
I couldn't find any FM Transmitters that took USB flash drives anymore in stores, so I went on Amazon and got me one of these...
I tested my luck with one of these. I put some songs on my flash drive, and plugged it in my car. The sound quality is amazing, ZERO noise flickering (you have to find the right station), and amazing playback. There is no rewind or fast forward, which is not that big of a deal. The remote control is also pretty awesome because it helps you keep your eyes on the road (once you learn the buttons by heart).
When you turn off your car or power to your DC outlet, the FM Transmitter remembers which song you left off on, so you don't have to start at the beginning of the playlist all over again, which is a GREAT feature.
Lit-up LED display also is fun, but you almost never use it unless you want to change the radio frequency.
Volume up/down feature is almost never used, but good to have I guess.
Play/pause (duh).
This FM transmitter also has a line-in feature, so you can use your dedicated MP3 player with this.
One funny thing about this product. If you tap on the product while it's playing music in your car, you can hear the taps transmitting into your speakers. Kinda fun if you want to freak out your friends.VR3 MP3 PLAYER WMA USB SD FM MODULATOR TRANSMITTER
If you want something that works GREAT and sounds like near-CD quality, get this. It's amazing.

It works great
It works as advertised. I expected some static in my 2005 Subaru, and it did have static on the lower frequencies *88.x, but on the upper frequencies such as 106.5 it works crystal clear. It's be nice to have it skip across folders on an SD card. What it does is take all music files, whether on the top level of the card or in sub folders and play through them all sequentially and skipping goes from file to file. On some MP3 players, such as my Creative ones, I can skip across folders as well as skipping through individual files. And with this unit, I can still do that by pluggin my Creative MP3 player into the 1/8" jack on this product. I'm so happy I bought one for my sister!

Could have been made better.
I bought this item about six months ago and absolutely loved the fact that I could load music on my old SD cards and play it through my radio. The sound quality isn't the best, but it's good enough for me. The only problem I had was the poor quality of construction. Last week I was pulling it out of the outlet and it broke apart. Part of it was still stuck in the outlet. It was a bit of a pain to try to remove it without shocking myself. I paid $49.00 for this item. It hardly seems like money well spent since it only lasted six months. Wish it had been constructed better.

Worked Good for About A Year
I purchased this product about 1 year ago. It worked great using SD and USB memory. After a year the unit began to fail. Now it may or may not work.
