EASY TO INSTALL; GREAT FOR OUR DOG
We had been looking for a gate like this since we got our new puppy Tonka. I was pretty lucky to find it at my local thrift store brand new for $18...great price! It is easy to install and I don't understand how people think it's hard to install. We, too, thought that there was something missing from the pressure bolts that go on the side. Once you fit the gate in the doorway, you have to screw it to where it applies pressure to the wall. I can see where the confusion would be, but coming from someone who doesn't know a thing about handy work, it was pretty easy to figure out. It's the perfect size for our puppy (he's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and he won't be able to jump over it since he'll only get to about 16 inches tall. We highly recommend this gate and it seems very sturdy!

Excellent gate for jumping puppy
Great product and easy to install.

I have a 40 lb, 5 month old lab that was jumping on my old suction cup, baby gate. This product has withstood him jumping and bumping on it. I highly recommend it for dog owners looking for something to use to contain their dog.

Great gate!
This gate was super easy to install, and works great! My 6 and 7 year old boys have no problems using it - it's easy to open and close.

Dont buy this gate
I cannot install this gate. The Instructions are as clear as mud. The instructions ay there is an installation video online but when you go to thier website, there is no such video. Im stunned that there are a bunch or reviews that say it is easy to install

We love this gate
We have had this gate for 2 months now since our daughter started crawling. We have one posted at the entry way to the kitchen and another at a little hallway before turning to go down stairs. It has worked very well for us and fits the doorway perfectly. At first it was a little hard to open, but then I unscrewed the pressure screws a teeny bit and that made a huge difference. Now, the gate will close if you just gently swing it shut. The bad news is now my daughter swings the gate close all the time and starts having a crying fit when it closes because she is trapped in the kitchen and can't get back into the living room. I was worried about the bar on the bottom of the gate. I was afraid that my daughter wouldn't be able to crawl over it, but it took her all but a few hours to figure it out and now she just crawls right over it with no problem. I did trip over it once, but then I just remembered from there on in. I love that it came with an extension for a reasonable price. You can't beat that. Other gates you have to buy the extra extension for about $15 on top of the price of the gate. I did notice with the current shipment of these gates, there is a little note attached to the gate stating that the gate is wider on top when you take it out of the box and is not damaged, I already knew this from reading other reviews. One other note for cat owners, we have a couple of cats. One is really skinny and walks right through the bars and then we have our chunky cats that will just jump right over the gate.
