5 stars Best Video we've seen on Churchill
This is no superficial coverage of Churchill. We had seen part of the series on A&E, and got more of it. Martin Gilbert was the only person who could have done this complete a job in a video. Ken Burns could have done it, maybe. No one else would come close.

I gave this as a gift to my brother, who is a Churchillphile. (He dips into Churchill's "History of the English Speaking Peoples" for relaxation.) The words he used to thank me were "Awe-inspiring, excellent, contained stuff I didn't know existed, thank you so very much!"

If it can pass muster with him, and keep my husband (*not* a Churchillphile) interested enough to prefer it to a new episode of Deep Space Nine, I would say that this is the Churchill series for everyone.
