When it comes to helping you develop a mastery of evidence-based medicine for optimal patient outcomes, no book can match Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach. Like the discipline it covers, the scope of this trusted resource goes beyond drug indications and dosages to include the initial selection, proper administration, and monitoring of drugs.

The book also delves into psychosocial issues that affect compliance … topics related to a patient's ability to understand and manage often-complex therapy… and lifestyle changes that may reduce the need for drug therapy or improve pharmacotherapeutic outcomes. Pharmacotherapy delivers everything you need to provide safe, efficacious drug therapy across the full range of therapeutic categories.

Customer Reviews

5 stars Dipiro: Pharmacotherapy
This is actually a great book for pharmacy students and pharmacists alike. It is much more understandable than Goodman and Gilman.

5 stars RJ
The book I purchased was in perfect condition, it came within a three to four day time period, and was cheaper than if I had gotten it through my local bookstore.
Great place to shop for textbooks.

5 stars Convenience
This is a required textbook for most Colleges of Pharmacy. The price is
equal to or less than bookstore WITH the added convenience of home delivery. It's a very heavy book, so this is a big plus. It comes with
a downloadable version and you can "carry" your lap top around with
text in it. Glad I ordered on Amazon.

4 stars Seventh Edition
I bought the casebook and the textbook together and found them to coincide nicely in their information. I even told my classmates about the deal. Thanks Amazon.

3 stars Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach
I was upset that I spent over $148.00 and found that the edges of the book were crumbled, could not send it back because I needed it for class
