Product Description:
When twenty-eight-year-old Lexi Smart wakes up in a London hospital, she’s in for a big surprise. Her teeth are perfect. Her body is toned. Her handbag is Vuitton. Having survived a car accident—in a Mercedes no less—Lexi has lost a big chunk of her memory, three years to be exact, and she’s about to find out just how much things have changed, Somehow Lexi went from a twenty-five-year-old working girl to a corporate big shot with a sleek new loft, a personal assistant, a carb-free diet, and a set of glamorous new friends. And who is this gorgeous husband—who also happens to be a multimillionaire? With her mind still stuck three years in reverse, Lexi greets this brave new world determined to be the person she…well, seems to be. That is, until an adorably disheveled architect drops the biggest bombshell of all. Suddenly Lexi is scrambling to catch her balance. Her new life, it turns out, comes complete with secrets, schemes, and intrigue. How on earth did all this happen? Will she ever remember? And what will happen when she does?

4 stars Kinsella doesn't disappoint!
Lexi suffers from amnesia after a car accident, which has her forget the past 3 years of her life. As a result, she has no recollection of the man she married, the promotion in her job, the fallout with her best friends, etc. She tries to carry on with everyone as if it was 3 years earlier, but in fact, it isn't. In the midst of all that, Jon is claiming they were having an affair and are deeply in love, while Lexi swears she would never do such a thing. As the story progresses, she uncovers that her husband Eric isn't all he's cracked up to be, and Jon might have some validity to his claim. While a situation like this would be devastating, Kinsella approaches the subject with humor, as she always does, leaving Lexi to pick up the pieces and mend relationships she had broken before the accident happened. I was a little disappointed with the ending, because I felt there were many questions left unanswered and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Lexi's story just yet. Could this mean a sequel is in the works? I sure hope so!!

5 stars to good to put down
A great read, with some humor inserted at just the right times. I passed it on to my sister and she loved it also!

5 stars loved it!
I absolutely adored this book and read it over and over again when I first purchased it. I'll admit I had low expectations but it is smart and quirky. There were a lot of moments where it made me "squee!"

The amenesia storyline is just the kick the standard love story needs. I thought Lexi was really relatable and Kinsella does a great job of describing each unique character without getting too long-winded. I only she had more description of Jon in it! :)

3 stars Good stuff
I read this book a couple of years ago but as I am easy to please when it comes to Sophie Kinsella, I enjoyed it. Maybe not quite to the level of the Shopaholic series, but if you like Kinsella, you probably will not be disappointed.

4 stars Not What I Was Expecting
I've read most of the Shopaholic books, so I was naturally expecting "Remember Me?" to be a funny book. Surprisingly, it isn't. I don't think I laughed at all. The story is kind of flat. Even though the premise of the book is intriguing--the main character has a car accident and loses all memory of the last three years--not a whole lot happens. Also, the characters are hard to relate to. I love Becky Bloomwood of the Shopaholic series because she's quirky and naive. Lexi Smart, the title character in "Remember Me?," is not nearly as well drawn as Becky. I couldn't really relate to her, or to any of the characters. While her gorgeous, millionaire husband turns out to be not-so-perfect, I couldn't see what drew her to Jon. He's a nice guy, I presume, but he comes across as flat, like everyone else in this book.

But despite these misgivings, I'm giving this book 4 Stars because I think Sophie Kinsella is a very talented writer. I also give her a lot of credit for not wrapping up all the loose ends and for not turning this into a happily-ever-after fairy tale.
