Disney's Magical Memories 2008 Calendar
This is a decent calendar. Unfortunately, there were some pictures on the front of the cover that were not represented in the calendar, which disappointed me a bit. However, the calendar did contain a very beautiful picture of Cinderella, personally my favorite.
What did upset me the most, though, was the fact that I received the calendar in a not-so perfect condition. It was bent in the middle and on one of the corners. It was an upsetting experience, especially since I was so excited to see my new calendar for the year. It has made me rethink ordering calendars from Amazon.

The best Disney 12 month calendar ever!!!!
I've bought many Disney calendars in the past, and some have been great, some have been okay, but the 2008 calendar is the best by far. Every month features a different Disney movie, and the art is beautiful. My favorite is Cinderella in her ball gown.
As soon as 2008 is over I am having some of the prints framed, they are that good!!!

Magically beautiful
I'm finally going to WDW for the first time ever next spring, and I bought this calendar as a coundown calendar. I decorated it (it didn't need any decorating, but I'm a scrapbooker!), put the countdown days on it, and every day I'm putting a Disney sticker on the countdown day to hide it, like I would put an X! It's so much fun, does a grat job with the excitement and anticipation, all the while being such a beautiful calendar... and when I return, it'll be a magical reminder of my trip!
This calendar is trully classic Disney magic. Each page has a beautifully painted classic animated movie image, all different. You can really stare at one for a while... and don't care about it not changing for the whole month!
But I did have a disapointment. Altough it's the norm, I still was sad to have all four 2007 months on the same page and thus with only one image. (and with the squares too small to write much anything)
When I purchased the 16 months calendar, I was hoping for a "real" 16 months calendar, with 16 whole pages and images.
I do have one true critic : by wanting to make it truly international, almost all national and religious holidays are listed, sometimes up to 4 on the same day! And some religious holidays add a line for things like "begins at sundown"... I'm sure if it's their own holiday, they don't need to have it on the calendar that this particular holiday "begins at sundown"...
I mean, it's a good thing that it's international and that everyone can feel it was made for them, and it's fun to learn about what's happening elsewhere in the world or in other cultures... but the characters for the holidays could be smaller. Also, the phases of the moon could be indicated by pictograms.
Why does it bother me? Because it's space I can't use myslef, like to note a doctor's appointment, for example...
And also because it takes away some of the calendar's beauty!
But overall, those two small things are not even enough to take away a star in my rating, and this calendar is so wonderful that it gets a 5*!
