Customer Reviews
Not Impressed with this MP3 player
I have bought a lot of mp3 players in my life but this one suxs the most. It has a great appearance, even great features but all that doesn't do any good if I can't hear the music i put on it. I am a very active person, either by running, playing basketball, or working out I use my mp3 player. There is only two choices to adjust the volume and the highest one is still like a whisper. It doesn't work with my fm transmitter also. So i my personal opinion, I would not buy this one because now I have to buy another one and haven't had this one a month yet

great
I was unsure if this product would work like they said. I have had no problems I have loaded many songs with no problems. I have played the radio with no problems. I have an old I-pod mini and this scandisk works a lot easier then the i-pod. Downloading songs are quicker and easier.

The e250 Sansa player, to buy or not to buy . . . that is a good question.
First I will begin with the evils of this little device. Had I known that it would have packed such a powerful punch (one strong enough to disable my Window's Media Player 10) I might not have made this purchase. My first comment has probably piqued your interest. If so, keep on reading.
I received the package in good order, merchandise was in good shape etc. However, the mp3 player did not come with a installation CD. Bad for your computer!! Very bad. Hence, my Windows Media Player went on the blitz when I tried to sync music onto the mp3 player. After two weeks and 14 days of crying, not to mention Dell Support and a computer literate friend, the problem was resovled when I installed my sister's CD (she has an e200 series mp3 player as well). The installation CD asked, after it had installed the video and picture converter, if I would like to install or update my Window's Media Player. I gave it a shot, and hooray, it worked.
Now I'm not trying to scare you away from this wonderful little machine. It's actually quite amazing...once you get the glitches out. Let me tell you about it-
-The e250 has 2 gygabites worth of space. That isn't enough for my vast music selection, so it has a micro slot you can add onto. LOVELY feature. I bought a 2 gig card, and now have enough music to last me forever. Not only that, but next to the songs that are on the "Music Chip" there is a little icon which shows you that 'this song is on the chip. Take the chip out and you won't have this song.' Nice feature.
-The battery life...I'm quite satisfied with the length that it takes me. Let's put it this way: listen to it all night, recharge in the morning. : ) Speaking of recharging, there's a nifty little wall charger that you can buy from SFPlanet (via amazon of course) for $2.00 approx. A must buy and I'll explain why in the next section.
- An explanation for the wall charger. Your mp3 player will come with a cord that will allow you to recharge from your computer, as well as add songs, videos, and pictures, so forth and so on. The little irritation? You can't turn off the mp3 nor can you play music on it until you have disconnected it from the computer. That's why the wall charger is so nice, you can do both of those things.
- All in all, it's a nice mp3 player. Sturdy, while it might have it's glitches (what technical gadget doesn't), it's easy to use and is small enough to slip into you pocket. Besides, it looks pretty cool. Not to mention that Sansa is one of the leading mp3 players for longlasting preformance..or so I've been told (that's my disclaimer : ).
-The reason I rated this item a four out of five is because I like the way it works and it's pretty easy to use. It lost a star because of the computer trouble it gave me.
I hope this reveiw has helped you. Sorry for the mis-spellings and grammatical errors.
P.s. if you do buy it, and it does crash your Window's Media Player 10, system restore doesn't fix it. You need to reinstall Window's Media Player 10.

Great Little MP3 Player!
The Sansa e250 2GB MP3 player has been an awesome player so far. The sound quality is excellent, in part because you can customize the equalizer. One of the key features I am impressed with that the IPod cannot touch is the microSD expansion slot. It also has voice recording and an FM Radio built in. Oh, and did I also mention it plays video and allows picture viewing?? If I could use this little guy as a cell phone, I'd never need another thing. But for now, for the price and the quality, this little player is perfect.

Music and more...
I was looking for just a music player, the video part would probably never get used by me. What a nice surprise when I loaded in a music video. The unit itself is everything I wanted and more. The Expansion slot gives me a whole new way to listen to audio books, store pictures and a different way to playlist when I use it with my docking system.
The number one reason to recommend is the sound reproduction; beyond good when paired with some top of the line earphones.
Pros:
- Ease and speed of transferring media
- Excellent sound quality
- Easy to navigate different modes
- Long battery life
- Expansion slot gives more choices
- FM Radio works great
Cons:
- Weight (but not a deal buster for me)
