WATER BOTTLE
I find it ideal for my purposes, am happy with the quality of service and the merchandise. I have 'retired' my old, plastic bottle and am pleased to be going 'green'!

Threads keep shedding...into my water!
As soon as I received my water bottles, I rinsed them several times under running water. I noticed black threads in the water while doing this, but wasn't too alarmed as I believed it could have been left over from manufacturing, packaging, etc. After one month of drinking from it, to my dismay, the black threads (which I think is coming from the cap) is still floating around in my water! And I didn't even know it because I couldn't see my water like in my previous clear, plastic bottles! I bought these bottles believing I would avoid potentially dangerous, invisible chemicals leaking into my water. How ironic and disgusting to know that I've been gulping in black plastic instead!

Not too crazy about it
I really didn't like the screw off top every time you wanted to use it. Ofcourse, since it's not clear, you can't see how far you're filling it up, and it had a metal taste.

Good bottle, bad lid.
These bottles are great, I bought one for my wife and one for myself. They keep the water fresh tasting and cool. However, the plastic lids have both stripped rendering the bottles useless. I have not been able to find replacements via the seller's website either.
Hopefully there is a place to buy stainless lids that would fit these bottles or maybe somewhere has an ample supply of bad plastic lids that I can keep replacing.

Made in China...no wonder it's so cheap! And flimsy too!
If avoiding Chinese-made products is important to you, skip this cheap Chinese import. This is a "US" company --yea, right! SIGG is the only socially conscious choice right now.
