Hours of fun
We purchased this for our 4 year-old son for Christmas--WHAT A HIT! He loves it as well as his 2 year-old brother. It's easy for them to use on their own. They love watching the cars race and crash. The best part that it's been 9 months since he got it for Christmas and still plays with it regularly.

I would recommend it to anyone who loves the movie "Cars" and toy cars.

Noisy fun! No, not Joisy Plum, NOISY FUN!
This is the only race track I've ever found that works great right out of the box. My four-year old loves it. True it doesn't work with any Hot Wheels cars, only the Pixar cars, but that's okay, too. My son stuck a *golf ball* in the track and it works too. So that's the competition for the McQueen car until we get it home. It's sure noisy, though. I SAID IT'S NOISY!

Great for a Cars-loving 2-and-a-half-year-old!
My 2-and-a-half-year-old boy loves everything Cars, so naturally we picked this up because it was small, portable, and it was something he didn't yet have. He's played with it every day for the past week, and continues to have fun racing all of his Cars characters. I'm even having fun with it! HOT TIP: Although the set comes with the Lightning McQueen car, the absolute best car to race on this track is Nitroade. That car flies around the track so fast it's like you've got the fast pedal pushed down the whole time. Great toy for tots!

If your kids love cars... you probably already own one!
I purchased this toy before the movie went to DVD. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. They enjoyed the toy a lot when we 1st got it. Only some of the "cars" toys worked. The larger ones got stuck on the corners but some of the larger "hot Wheels" types worked. As time ticked away they have used it less and less. They do still however pull it out every once in a while and play with it.

Not very educational though. :)

Gift for a 4-year old...
I gave this as a gift to a four year old and his mother tells me that he loves it! The only warning she gave me is that it shouldn't be used near anything breakable (ie., a TV!). Apparently the car "accelerator" really revs up the cars which is great fun for the kids, but not so great if the cars go flying off the track! She said that it has held up to a lot of use over the past three months and is a toy that they also pop in the car when going to someone's house.
