I am sure this would work fine, but it is not a universal item and I had to return it.

Easy installtion, looks OEM
I got this locking gas cap for my 2005 Ford Escape and it installed perfectly using the factory tether. I just used a screwdriver to stretch the original cap out of it and stretched this new cap into it. Looks perfectly OEM. Love it. Took me maybe 2 mins to install total including removing the old one.

$14 and an OEM look for piece of mind is worth it to me. Don't hesitate to buy this. As always, AMAZON PRIME for the win! Got it in 2 days, free shipping.

Stant locking fuel cap
this item working great i knew after reading a review that i might have trouble with the retaing ring on old fuel cap but if you use a small screwdriver you can slip it off the old one and place it on the locking cap fairly easy hope this helps anyone purchasing a locked fuel cap
