my kids liked it for about 10 minutes - then it got old and now is more junk in the basement

Great Toy, Bad Customer Service
I am writing to share my experience with trying to obtain the toy. When Wild Planet was unable to deliver the toy, custoemr service called but did not leave a call back phone number or email. I had to search to find a number in which the only number available was for placing an order. The orders department could not transfer me to any other department as they were in another building and would not give out the main office number. Also, I never received an email with the order tracking number.
However, the toy is good.

Perfect for birthday parties!!
We got this for our 6-year old daughter's pirate-themed birthday party. It is the perfect size for her to hold when she looks for treasure. We hid her presents all around and she used this Treasure Hunter to find them and bring them to the table for opening. Our other 3 children have used it many, many times since and it seems to be quite durable. We will be getting another one for my niece for her birthday! This is definitely a toy that won't get lost on our shelves. We love this!

Great Gift Item!
We bought this toy for our 6-year old niece and were notified immediately upon its arrival at her house that she and her 4-year old brother were having a great time with it! Easy to use right out of the box and great for a multi-child household. We got a big thanks for "always finding the coolest birthday presents"! So we highly recommend it!

What great fun!
This toy is awesome. My daughters are 6 and 3 and they love it. They take turns hiding and finding it. They also have hidden with it and we have to find them! It's also great that it is a toy that both girls and boys love so it gets a lot of use during playdates! It reminds me of a high tech game of (cold...warm...hot...hotter..).
