Product Description: Undoubtedly the first movie in history to have played in theaters with three different endings (depending on which theater you attended), Clue is a silly whodunit based on the familiar board game featuring Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, and all the other usual suspects. A broadly comic cast play the sundry suspects gathered in a mansion to solve a murder, knowing that one of their numbers is the culprit. Michael McKean, Eileen Brennan, and Tim Curry are the best of the bunch, and the film is as lightweight an experience as a round of the game itself. Directed by Jonathan Lynn (My Cousin Vinny). The video release contains all three endings. --Tom Keogh

5 stars Underated and Overlooked Movie
Having intially picked this movie at a great price, I was very pleasently surprised at the quality of the movie.I was first attracted by wondering what a movie version of Clue could be like. Currently I'm on my second viewing and find it better than the first.Unfortunately, this movie was never as popular as some of the other movies in the same decade .It's a hidden gem from 1985. I love the three endings part. I strongly recommend this film to anyone that is looking for something different than today's comedies. And besides at the price currently offered, it's a real steal.

5 stars Best movie of all time!!!
Clue is one of those hard to find, impeccably humorous movies that is subtle yet obvious at the same time. The writing and character execution (ha...pun intended) are insanely captivating. Watch this movie or lead a meaningless life.

5 stars Question?
Is there a version of this that has all 3 endings in one movie or one that seperates them cause i see there are 2 different listings on amazon for it. id prefer to have one with all 3 endings in one movie.

5 stars One of the funniest movies ever made
The basic plot of "Clue" is exactly the same as that of the board game of the same name. A group of guests are gathered at an old mansion, one of the guests dies and the remaining guests must solve the murder. That is, who killed Mr Boddy, with what weapon and in which room?

Although the film is written as a mystery (and as a mystery story, it's not a bad one), this is a mystery written and directed by Jonathan Lynn (who also wrote "Yes, Minister" and "Yes, Prime Minister"), so that gives you an idea of what you're getting yourself in for. "Clue" is a very funny movie, starring some very funny people, including Christopher Lloyd, Madeline Kahn and Tim Curry, and it never fails to amaze me that this film is not better known. Nevertheless, every time I meet someone who has seen this film, they usually have the same opinion of it as me.

When "Clue" was released in cinemas, back in 1985, different copies of this film were released with different endings, so the ending that you saw would vary depending on which cinema you went to. On home video (where I first saw this film), all three of these endings were included (yes, that's right, the video had three endings - trust me, it works), and in this DVD version, the viewer is given the choice of either seeing the home video "trilogy" ending or watching the film with a randomly selected ending, as in the cinema.

I saw this film for the first time when I was 10, and then, because I liked it so much, watched it again the following day (something which I have only done about two or three times in my entire life). Over the years, I have seen this film a couple of dozen times, and I can pretty much recite the entire script verbatim, and yet I still find myself watching it again and again. If you haven't seen this film already, you really must. Forget what the AFI say, THIS is what should have made the best American comedies of all time list.

5 stars "I Didn't Do It!"
This fun-filled movie is great to watch with family and friends. It's definitely the best movie ,in my opinion, made in that year. You can enjoy three different endings of this movie, which makes it even better. If you like crazy comedy and mysterious murders, this is the movie for you!!!
