Customer Reviews
Beautiful, rugged, compact, with great key response!
White keys, black labels, thin aluminum base, looks sharp. Rugged construction. As compact as a full-size extended keyboard can be. Key response ("feel") is short-stroke, quiet, solid, actually as good as any old-school IBM electric typewriter! Matches my son's G5 aluminum tower. Be sure to get the "firmware" update for this keyboard via automatic Mac OS X software-updates.

Best Keyboard I've Ever Used
I started typing on the great IBM Correcting Selectric II, and I've had all manner of computer keyboards over the years. This keyboard is simply the best. I wasn't sure I'd like it when it arrived with my iMac. It is beautiful, but I was concerned it wouldn't hold up in the long term. 8 months later, with heavy, daily use, I can comfortably say it'll hold up just fine. It's a bit heavier than you might expect, given its thinness, and that's a good thing. The slab of metal keeps it rock solid with no sponginess whatsoever. Easy touch, and the keys feel great, even though they appear to be flat (they don't really feel flat, though.

Apple Keyboard works great with MacBook
I got the Apple keyboard for my MacBook to make it easier to enter data. This keyboard works perfectly for me. the key layout is a little different but it took very little time to orient myself to the different key positions. It does take full power to run so I had to plug it into a USB port on my MacBook and not into a little 4-port hub I have but that didn't cause any issues - I had the spare port. It also comes with a USB extender so that I could put the keyboard on the keyboard tray on my desk and loop the cord all the way through the desk to the port. Now when I put my MacBook there, I just plug in the USB and I'm up and running. I love it!

Great Keyboard
A small functional, easy to use keyboard. As with any new tool, a little time was needed to get used to the differences, but well worth it.

Disappointing triumph of style over substance
This keyboard and mouse came with my new iMac. Stylish in aluminum, sleek to behold. But for touch typing, just awful. Flat keys spaced close together (not tapered with concave tops like all else, including my PowerBook and older Macs)make accurate typing very difficult. Same with the 10 key pad. The optical mouse doesn't track very well and the scroll button failed on the down motion after two months. A big disappointment from Mac which has always had high quality well designed hardware. I replaced with a Logitech S530 wireless set (excellent with many more controls and great with Leopard OSX) and was glad to put these things away.
