Great TV
Great picture - easy to use - delivery went very well - they even put it up on the stand for us. We use it with cable, HD and DVD - great pictures. Menus are easy to understand.

We had shopped the big box stores - we are very happy with buying from Amazon. It was an easy transaction - shipping and delivery went off without a hitch.

Great picture for movies and sports. This was the right decision for a new TV and our first HD TV.

It just fits in our space - the perfect size. If you are torn between 2 sizes, go with the larger screen size.

After all the research was done, I chose the Samsung LN52A650. All I can say is "Wow, what a picture!" This is an amazing TV. My wife gets motion sickness sometimes because the picture is so lifelike you feel like you're there! There is no reflection to speak of. I got it during the Olympics and saw Bolt break 3 world records--with no blurs! Watched our old "The Sound of Music" DVD with our Samsung upconvert DVD player--it was like seeing it for the first time. Amazing! Highly, highly recommend this TV. And the best thing: I got $220 back from Amazon since the purchase price dropped in the 30 days following my order. Can't beat that! Buy this TV--you won't be sorry!

Absolutely Amazing
Wow. That's the best way for me to describe the TV. I went from a tube TV to a 52 inch Toshiba DLP and thought the transition was great. When I bought this Samsung, I felt the DLP I had was my old tube TV. The picture is phenomenal. I hooked both my Xbox 360 and PS3 and played games and was amazed how clear, and crisp the picture looked. The detail and picture had me speechless but that was just the beginning of it.

When I placed a Blu-Ray disk (Alien vs Predator) into my Playstation 3 and played it, I was in awh. I couldn't believe the clarity, the detail...I'm still speechless. I felt this TV just put my DLP to shame. One of my gripes about Alien vs Predator was the scenes in the movie when it was dark. I had a hard time making out what was going on. Not with this TV. I could see the Aliens running around in the tunnels where as with my DLP, I could barely make them out. It was a frustrating experience to watch on my DLP, not anymore with this Samsung. You can see what was going on in the intense action scenes with perfect motion clarity and no haze or blur. Another thing, with such clarity, I could see just how fake the Aliens were. Something I couldn't do with the DLP.

I gave the TV a 4 star rating because the sound system was less than spectacular. It really doesn't bother me since I have a Samsung surround sound system. It also would have been nice to up date the firmware with the network (internet) connection instead of having to download the firmware onto a usb flash drive and then plugging it in to the TV.

If you are in the market for an LCD, buy this model right now. I swear you will not be disappointed. The price may make you look at a cheaper model and/or brand, but I guarantee the price of this Samsung is well worth it.

TV is great so far. I'll write a longer review once I have more time with it.

Aesthetics: this tv is GORGEOUS. When the tv is turned off, sitting black and sleek, it just looks incredible. I'm really glad I got the 52" (as opposed to the smaller one). It's massive and stunning.

Great TV
Beautiful picture easy to understand setup. So, far haven't encountered any of the negative things a few people said about it..... Picture sure seems a lot bigger than 52"!!
