Great fun, but not long lasting
I've been through 10 of these bubble machines! They are great for about 3-5 uses and then they either need batteries replaced or just don't work. The problem with these machines are the batteries are either in the back or on the bottom. If the batteries get wet from the solution it's as good as done. We've also tried other Gazillion bubble machines. The ones that work best are the bubble machines with batteries located at the top.

Bubble Machine
I had to return it once. The second one has been fine so far (2-3 weeks of use). The kids go crazy with it. It does have lot's and lot's of bubbles, and no worries about trying to blow. You have to treat it with care though. It's not really sturdy, but if you handle it and not the kids it should be fine. It says you have to use their bubble solution brand. Of course not. Summer must.

Bubbles Are Fun and Educational
My grandson's daddy showed him the switch and told him to push it. My grandson became so excited at the incredible sight of the bubbles filling the room he could do nothing but stand there speachless. I have never seen him so excited over anything! He finally started running through the bubbles and trying to catch or pop them so I got some wonderful pictures!

I have read several reviews on bubble toys from people who say they are not educational. I do not agree with that opinion. I taugh older children for most of my 30 years in teaching, but for 2 years after school, I worked with developmentally delayed babies for which I had to attend training by a nurse, special education teacher, physical therapist, and occupational therapist. At the end of my training my supervisor handed me a bottle of children's soap for bubbles. She said,"This is your most important tool."

I didn't understand at first, but I soon learned. Bubbles facinate babies and young children waking their senses to learn about other things. For instance, I taught a 3 year old to swim by using bubbles to make him forget that he was afraid of the water. Using bubbles, you as a teacher, parent, or grand parent are only limited by your own imagination and creativity.

Gazillion Bubbles Is Right
They claim 4000 bubbles a minute and I believe them. However that transfers into allot of bubble solution. You might want to find a recipe to make your own, but Gazillion solution can be bought fairly cheap in larger bottles and their bubbles last longer than my homemade solution and are more colorful. Adding red food dye helps. The one downside to this bubbler is when full of solution, if moved to another location it will spill out solution from the two overflow holes if not help perfectly level. I assume those holes are to prevent solution from getting into the motor or batteries. The bubbles aren't large, but I'd say average 2.5 inches. All kids and adults that have seen this bubbler in action are amazed and I still am. I can't determine how long it will last, I've only used it 5 or 6 times totaling about an hour, but if it breaks on use #7, I'm still going to buy another one. One final note, the picture posted isn't the same as the bubbler that I received, mine has no handle & has a place for the solution to sit in the bubbler (upside down) that supplies the bubbler with solution, but looks like it blows bubbles the same way.

Love the bubbles
I have a two year old and a 7 month old and the love this product. They love all the tons of bubbles that shoot out and they run around and try to pop them! It can be messy with the bubbles - but worth the fun. Just keep out of reach because it is fragile and will break if dropped. I am on my third one since my two year old loves the way it spins! Enjoy! Also, get the one that does the huge bubbles too - I put them together and swear it keeps them laughing and jumping around for a long time! Love the big huge bubbler made by Gazzilion as well!
