Physics Teacher uses it.
I've been using this in my physics classes for 5 or 6 years. You can attach a protractor where the launch tube meets the air hose and set specific angles. Then get kids to time the flight, and others to measure distances and you can actually get data for some calculations. Demonstrate the projectile motions concepts. Do your launching on a football field to get easy distances.

Really fun toy, not made as well as the Original Stomp Rocket
Really fun toy! The plastic rockets break easily though. I prefer the foam rockets that come with the original Stomp Rocket instead.

It is simple , fun and easy to use.

Great family fun!
I bought this toy after our extended family (kids ages 2-20) enjoyed playing with the one that was in the condo we rented on the beach. That one had clearly been played with a lot and was still in good shape. Haven't had the opportunity to use ours yet, but I expect the same results. You do want to have a good sized open area to play with it as even our youngest one was able to stomp it hard enough to make it go a distance. Like nearly any toy, it could be dangerous if misused...you don't want to be launching the rockets right at someone or looking right into one when it launches, but even if you did it would likely hurt but not cause serious injury.

Best money ever spent!!!!
I was off to visit my sister and her kids out in San Francisco for Thanksgiving 2007. I wanted to take the kids (4 of them ranging from 2-6 yrs old.) something fun to play with. We had an absolute "blast" with it. I would definately recommend buying extra rockets as they tend to get stuck in trees, on roofs, & go over neighbor's fences. It takes lots of abuse but keeps on sending rockets soaring. The rockets are a little fragile - if they get stepped on, they may break and not work properly. Overall, the best money spend on a toy in ages! Highly recommended.
