Product Description: This boxed set of flowing yoga postures for beginners includes four 35-minute yoga videos that are also sold separately: Lilias: Arms & Abs, Lilias: Cardio Challenge, Lilias: Serenity Now, and Lilias: Legs & Buns. You can alternate or combine the workouts, mixing and matching according to your goals or how you feel on a particular day. Known simply as Lilias, Folan introduced yoga to millions of television viewers 30 years ago. Though the slim, supple body has become middle-aged and the familiar, long braid has been replaced with short curls, her gentle, patient, and clear instruction remains the same, and she is even more inspiring. Her style is inviting because she doesn't show off her flexibility or demand that you get into impossible postures. She starts where you are, explaining how to get into a posture (modified is fine), how to tell if you're doing it right, what your body should feel and look like as you do it, and what's happening in your body. Whether you first experienced yoga decades ago with Lilias or you're discovering it now, she is warm and welcoming, and her instructions are exceptionally clear and simple. --Joan Price

Customer Reviews
Faulty product
I've had to return the DVD TWICE. It would either hesitate or completely freeze as soon as I started watching it. Finally got a refund and contacted Lilias directly. I purchased the same DVD from them. It still hesitates in a few spots, but it's definitely better that the first two. Obviously not the sellers fault. He refunded me the money for the purchase, but I did have to pay for shipping charges the both times I returned it.

A Lilias Fan - excellent beginner DVD
Ok, I do fancy Lilias and Do keep searching for other yoga dvds that I can enjoy with as much gusto. I started doing yoga with Lilias via PBS TV back in the 70's. She is an exceptional personality and teacher. What sets her off from others is explaining WHY you are positioning your body in the pose. For example, in downward facing dog you press through the arms, so that your head goes back and your body forms a V, but this also should open up the space between your shoulder blades. Love it, she makes you feel your body and muscles. This came as a two dvd set. I prefer the arms/abs - legs buns dvd to the cardio challenge dvd although I do enjoy the serenity portion of the cardio dvd. This is an exceptional set for any beginner and will develop the flexibity and strength for continuing with a yoga practice. I wish she had intermediate fitness dvds.

Complete Yoga
Not the best Yoga for beginners............repeating the same routine on one CD is not the best learning tool

Invigorating, Gentle, Inviting
I've watched Lilias for years and I have never grown tired of it. She's an excellent teacher, describing each exact movement, how to do it and why it helps. The workouts feel gentle and simple, but produce lasting results. Her manner is friendly and encouraging and, somehow, I always feel sure she actually cares about how I do.
