Not professionally done
I was very disappointed with this video. I wanted a beginning Tai Chi video, and this was not close to any others I have seen. It looks like someone took their video camera and filmed someone doing Tai Chi in a field somewhere and then when to her house to finish up. Most unprofessional.

Very disappointing!
After reading the reviews published, I was really excited to get this video. To my disappointed I found out this is by no means a video for beginners of Tai Chi, if you don't know your way around, there is no way you will be able to follow this video. I also found that the sound and lighting was very poor. Overall, I do not think this video is worth the money.

In Love with This Tape
This video on T'ai-chi is a great surprise. It teaches a 20 movement Yang short form, step by step, from various angles. It also shows how to use the body correctly to develop flexibility, flow, rootedness into the ground, and all the Tai-chi principles. It also suggests how each movement is designed to affect the inner spirit, strengthening it and helping you to be more aware of yourself. Jean Goulet is able to combine femininity with great strength - physical strength and strength of spirit. She is a beautiful spirit and a great example for all women. The instructions in this video are simple, and yet very profound. The video is as beautiful as T'ai-chi itself. This is not only a great video for women but for anyone interested in the spiritual side of T'ai-chi and being able to get their bodies to flow like water and eliminate their stress.

Great Beginners Tape
This is a beautiful tape. It provides a simple Yang form and gives careful instructions about how to do each movement, how to use the body in a relaxed, fluid way and how each movement strengthens you from the inside, physically and spiritually. It is beautifully done and a great introduction to anyone interested in T'ai-chi.
