Ratchet and Clank Review
I really love this game, it lives up to his hipe. If you like spyro or crash bandicoot then you will like this game. It's really fun and I love it.

Playing a Pixar Movie...As close as it gets
This game is great. Probably the most under-rated game of this generation. I think its as good as Mario Galaxy
Graphics are great. You really feel like you are playing a pixar movie.

Fun game
What a fun game! We just got the PS3. I wanted a game that wasn't realistic...aka no blood, something more than Tiger Golf, but easy for me, a non-gamer. Wish this game was around when my guys were younger, but they are even having fun playing it, and they are in their 20's!

Best Graphics Ever
Extremely fun game and kept me entertained for hours. Never got boring, each task and adventure was amazing. I can not wait until the next game in the series comes out.

Worthy game for anyone's collection
This game is one of the best games out for the current generation of consoles. It might be formulaic, but everything is so polished, from the graphics to the gameplay, that it just about the most FUN experience on the PS3.
I'm new to the Ratchet series. I tried it once, years ago on the PS2, but I didn't "get it." I gave up on it after the first level and never bothered to play it again. When I bought the PS3 in the winter of 2007, I wanted to see what the system could do so I picked up this game and gave the series another shot. I'm glad I did. I've gone through the game three times, and plan on going through it again soon.
The graphics are excellent. I wouldn't say they match the "Pixar movie" level...nothing does, but this is as close as we've ever seen. The small details on the outfits and in the environments really show off that the attention given to the game by the developers. I really liked the variety you see in each of the different worlds you explore.
The gameplay is very fun. I especially liked the upgrade system for the weapons. It kept me playing much longer than I expected to, just to get to the next level for the weapons.
The skill points (used to unlock bonus features) can be difficult to figure out. I'm going to have to look online to see what I need to do to get everything unlocked. A more explicit explanation for each one would have been nice. I like that we can unlock bonus features though. The developers commentary for the various levels is an especially appreciated touch.
The one aspect of the game that I didn't particularly care for is the "Star Fox" sequences, where you use ships to fight in space. I understand that it was meant to break up the gameplay a bit, but it felt unnecessary and wasn't as fun as the other parts of the game.
I'm definitely looking forward to the next game (sequel or expansion doesn't matter) and will buy it the day it comes out.
