A Great Game
Metal Slug Anthology is a perfect game for the PSP. There are 6 ports of the metal slug side-scrolling shooter arcade games in this package (Metal Slug 2 and X are the same thing with only slight differences. If you count X there are 7 games). Every game in this collection is fun and fast paced. The levels and games are of decent sizes making it perfect for the portable system. I have had this game for over a year and I still continue to play it over and over.

If your having trouble enjoying your PSP, just buy this. It's really hard for me to get into most PSP games due to the bad control setup. This game however, plays very well. It's a great game to have if you don't have all day to play games, you don't feel the need to beat it or anything, just pop it in for a while, blow up some stuff, shoot some stuff then carry on with your day, no sweat.

Oh, can someone tell me what I missed? Why is this game going for nearly 70 dollars on here? I just bought it yesterday for [...] at gamestop. Anyone know?

One of my favorite PSP games...
This is a great compilation of the Metal Slug series. This is a great port. I think the PSP version is perfect. This is a great game to pick up and play for a while, and finish later. It's great if you have 5 minutes to kill, or 2 hours. If you like the Metal Slug games at all, you will appreciate this compilation. Most of the games are all the same, but have enough variation to feel different from each other. The only negative I can think of is the loading times. They aren't especially long, but they happen between EVERY scene in the same level. Plus at the character select screen it takes a good 3-4 seconds each time you cursor over a different character... The loading times aren't in critical spots in the gameplay, but they do get long sometimes, and get annoying when they happen every few minutes. I would still recommend this compilation highly to anyone that likes action games, or a fan of the series.
