Sometimes, the only thing that works!
I have a couple of children - one who is 7 and tends towards the finicky side, and another who is not yet 2 who just finds herself too busy in the morning to want to sit down and eat breakfast. Both of them LOVE these Z-Bars. Actually, I do too;)

Unlike many adult version Clif bars that I have tried, these actually taste quite good. The variety of flavors (including others that are not in this pack: apple cinnamon and blueberry) is wonderful. Most importantly, they are truly healthy. No high-fructose corn syrup, all organic, and lots of vitamins and minerals. In our house, these are great for breakfast on the go (with a glass of milk and a piece of fruit) or if we are out during snack time (better than a drive-thru). I actually keep a few of these in the car so if ANYONE gets hungry (adults included), we have something healthy on hand.

I highly recommend them for anyone trying to eat healthier - and if you happen to have a child or two, even better!

Fantastic Organic Food Bar
If you want something healthy that tastes great, these are the bars to buy. Forget the kids. Both my husband and I absolutely love these bars. When you can understand what the ingredients are, you know it's good for you. I will definitely buy these again.

My kids love them!
My kids LOVE these! They take them for school snacks and my son always grabs one before he goes to soccer practice. When their friends are here they always ask for one (or more!) My kids don't always like the healthy snacks that I buy, but they do love these! I think they are delicious too! These are their favorite bars and I love buying them in bulk.

I picked up a couple of these at my local grocery store for $.89 each. My middle son loves these and takes them to school every day for his snack. He thinks I'm the coolest mom ever to let him take a 'fudge bar' to school. My teenage daughter likes them too. Now my husband who has a huge sweet tooth said they tasted ok but a little bland. He grew up eating homemade desert every night.

Amazon has a great price on these and the exp. date on are well into 2009. (I can't remember the exact month.)

Good for the kids and good for me
We liked these bars so much, we actually subscribed to have one box delivered to us every month.

As the writing on the box reads, you get 3 flavors. The bars are just about the right size - not too small but small enough for the kids to get 2 of them in one day, if they qualify. I sometime take a bar myself, after exercising or, sometimes, in the morning, instead of breakfast.
