Excellent deal
This is a great deal for these 2 bottles. I looked for it at our local health food store and it was quite expensive! So I searched on amazon and found this. I have not used it yet, but I tasted it, and it is very sweet with a delicate, mild flavor. My mother is using it to sweeten her tea and she enjoys it.

Started to ferment
Didn't care for the product so left it on the shelf for 6 months. Tried it again and it smells like alcohol (tequila). It has started to ferment which is something a sweetener properly processed should not do.

Better than Sugar for Baking
Lower on the Glycemic Index than white sugar, Agave Nectar is great in baked goods. Just cut the other liquids by 1/3 and lower cooking temperature by 25 degrees, and Agave works great in most recipes. We have eliminated refined sugar and this is a wonderful substitute.

Yummy tasting...BUT
I agree w/ other reviewers: VERY poorly shipped! When my box arrived, it was soaked through and through... the bottle didnt just leak, it was COMPLETELY emptied! I rinsed the other bottle and surprisingly, unlike other syrups, it rinsed off easily and cleanly. Amazon quickly rectified the situation though...but what a waste!

Other then that, I'm a HARDCORE suger addict to the point people always ask me "do you want tea w/ that sugar?" This is the FIRST product Ive tried that taste just like sugar w/ no bad after taste! I originally bought this for my father who is diabetic, so I will update later after more usage to see if his sugar levels remain the same as with Splenda (which he complains about the aftertaste.) I also love the fact that it disolves quickly!

Only gripe is that because it isnt "thick" like say honey, this stuff goes quick! I already see another order in the near future! I just hope the packaging is better!

Great taste, not great packaging, try Wholesome Sweetners brand
I love the taste of this product and use it for everything I can, coffee, tea, etc. But I agree with the comments about poor packaging so I took away one star. The two bottles arrived with no padding in the same box as another item and one of the bottles had leaked a little in transit making everything sticky. So for about two cents an ounce more here on Amazon I'm going back to the Wholesome Sweetners brand, which used to have a similar problem but FIXED it. Also the I like the convenience of the Wholesome brands having smaller containers with drip spouts so it's easier to take a bottle to work. AND the Wholesome brand pushes the fact that they are also certified Free Trade, I'm all for happy workers.
