Customer Reviews
Great Book--must have
Excellent information to keep up on the latest prescription drugs. We had an older edition and purchased a more up to date edition. We refer to it often for ouselves, family and friends. We have been alerted to drug side effects even before the physician could recognize or diagnose. We are not one's to be taking a lot of prescription drugs, but it is almost innevitable in this pill crazy world we live in. This book is a must have.

practical & important help
My daughter, then age 12, got the shingles, a disease usually reserved for older people. I didn't know what it was, but she was in quite a bit of distress. It was Memorial Day Weekend, and I had to take her to a walk-in clinic, the only place around that was open. They prescribed an anti-viral. When we got home, I looked it up in this book. It said that the drug was not approved for children. On Tuesday, I called her pediatrician, who agreed with the book & substituted a different medications. I was glad that I had the book and the information. Otherwise, who knows if I even would have called her doctor?
