Great concept for modern poluted life
If you suffer from allergies, sinusitis, any kind of headache please try these products. An ear nose and throat doctor was evaluating me for deviated septum surgery and said that he could see collected polutants deep in my nasal cavities. I would sneeze and even I could smell a terrible odor. After the Neti with salt solutions it completely cleared up. I breathe much better all day and especially at night.

Neti Pot: I Love This Thing!
I was introduced to the whole nasal irrigation thing by my doctor, who suggested it while treating me for a bad cold. He suggested a product called (NeilMed's) "Sinus Rinse," which I got from a drugstore. It was a great product - it comes with a squeeze bottle which pushes the water up.
After using that for a while, I naturally became curious about the Neti Pot, which is a more gentle way to rinse out your sinus. So I ordered this Neti Pot, and I love it! It's very well-designed, and I was able to use it right away. It was very comfortable, and the water flowed very steadily. I also love that it's ceramic, so it can be thoroughly washed after each use, and not harbor any residue like a plastic bottle might. It's also very cute! (I kind of wish it came in different colors, though.) I expect this Neti Pot will last me a very long time, as long I don't drop it or anything. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Freedom
No more sinus problems. No more sinus headaches. No more congestion. I'm so glad that I saw this on the Oprah show. If you have these problems, BUY this product. You won't regret it and you won't have to purchase expensive sinus medication anymore. It is so easy to use that I have already recommended it to my friends. This product is the Best health investment you will ever make.

Good, but Deviated Septum trumps Snot Pot
Well, I am a chronic allergy sufferer, so in my journey to get some relief someone mentioned the Neti Pot. Sounded kooky, but I'll give most anything a try.
It arrived from Amazon quickly and in perfect condition. I used sea salt dissolved in hot water, and left it in the pot to cool off to slightly above room temperature. I looked up various videos on YouTube showing how to do it, then took a shot at it.
It feels a bit odd at first, but once you get used to it, it's actually kind of a tickly sensation and not unpleasant. The problem I encountered is that on my worst congested days, my severely deviated septum would not allow drainage on one side. Water went in, but wouldn't drain out. This by contrast is a rather unpleasant a sensation.
I get allergy shots now, and use a prescription nasal spray in the mornings. I use the Neti Pot in the evenings to flush any ickky bits out. My nose feels great. Once I've been at the allergy shots long enough I believe that I will be able to stop my prescription medication and just use the Neti Pot.
So if you are un-congested, but prone to nasal discomfort and allergies, and want to keep un-congested - this is great. If you are solidly congested and want to get clear, this is probably not too comfortable.

NETI POT
I have been using the Neti Pot daily since buying it in early March 2008. I started noticing an improvement in my sinus problems after the first few weeks, and now for the first time in many years I can mow my lawn without having to take allergy/cold medicine, and can paint with oil base paint without getting a sinus headache or sinus infection. I recommend it to anyone who has sinus problems. I bought the non breakable model so I don't have to worry obout it getting broken while traveling. I use 1/2 teaspoon of plain pickling salt per cup of warm water.
