Excellent price... jury still out on the effectiveness
My vet recommended this product for my 10 year old Cocker Spaniel. My dog has been taking it for about 2 months now. He seems to like the taste, but I'm not sure if the supplements are actually doing much for my dog. He is back to normal (from his limping) but he was also on a number of other prescriptions from the vet so it's hard to say what is the cause for this recovery. The 4 stars I'm giving this are for Amazon's price for this item. In the past I've learned that things that my vet recommends are often much cheaper online than at his office, so when he recommended this product (at $50) I decided to check online first. I'm glad I did, because Amazon's price was almost half that. I later told my vet that he's on the product and told him that his price was much higher than Amazon, I then told him the price and he couldn't believe it. He claimed he pays more than that for them and then told his assistant. Not sure if they didn't believe me, but I didn't care. In the future I always decline my vets recommendations until I can price the products on Amazon (and it's affiliates) first. I also let me vet know I do this so he knows he's losing my business for his prices, hopefully that makes him more competitive.

The product is very good and my dog loves it. The problem I had with this tub was that it was a little dried out.

So I rate the product 5 stars but the supplier maybe a 4 star for not having fresh product.

Synovi G3 soft chews
My 3 think these are "cookies" and beg for them. I like the fact that their treats are good for their joints. Love these. Lynn R

Mucho Excellent!
I must say, I was rather astounded by the medicinal properties of these chews...My 9 1/2 year old feamle Boxer/Border Collie mix was really starting to show the initial effects of arthritis in her hind legs & I was really getting concerned, so, I did some researching on the internet, found the Synovi G3 Soft Chews and decided to try 'em before a visit to the vet...We started her on the chews & after about 3 weeks, the effects were marked & phenomenal...she hardly limps at all anymore...it's like we turned the clock back 4-5 years...Can't say enough good about these chews...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Didn't work on my dog's advanced arthritis
This is recommended and sold by my holistic vet as the best thing out there for arthritis. I have ordered 5 or 6 tubs of it (I have two large dogs) and made sure to give it according to the directions and even a little more-so when I couldn't see a change. This didn't seem to help my 13 and 14 year old husky mixes at all, but they do have rather advanced arthritis. The chew however is convenient and my picky dogs would eat it without doctoring.
