Not bad at all....
I think this is more a matter of expectations, if you are looking for security lights then these are not the lights for you. If you want accent lights for your landscaping these are more than bright enough to do the job. Granted I live in the tropics so sunshine is not a problem, but I've been very happy with my purchase.

Better Than Expected
This light set shines brighter than I expected. I have two sets that accent my arbor which sits at my gate to my yard. You can see the whole arbor lit up from down the street in total darkness. The lights are very versitile since you can either mount them or put them on stakes in the ground. They also swivel up and down and you can turn the light in any direction after it is mounted. Also, each light has 20ft. of wire so you can really space them far apart if you want.I am very pleased with them and have not found anything brighter for the price.

Good value for the money, long life so far
These are very good solar lights for the money. I purchased some 3 years ago and they are still working fine. They are a little dimmer over that time. Just be warned that they have a slightly blue color cast compared to non-solar lights.

I did replace the three 1500mah AA batteries with 2500mah AA when they were new for longer light.

I have recently bought 2 more for other parts of the yard.

Very impressed with light emitted by 3 lamps (stronger beam if just use 1 or 2). I have them positioned to facilitate walking up/down steps and paths. Work well even after a day or two of cloudy/wet weather with little or no sunlight; suggesting reasonable energy storage. Definitely saves energy/trouble remembering to switch on older outdoor floodlights.

No value for me
These lights provide no value to me. I tried to light a short ornamental ficus tree in my courtyard and found that 3 lites would only lite the 1st 3' of the 5' trunk. The blue-white lite is also not very revealing on green leaves. It needs a little more warmth (red) to illuminate the leaves. A larger battery and fluorescent would probably do a better job. I am returning them today and continuing my search.
