Great Chair, Fast Shipping, Could use directions
I ordered mine the night before last and had it sent to DC via Free Shipping, and I just got it - very fast!

As far as the packaging is concerned, it was just put in a plastic bag and then put in the box. It's clearly a very durable chair so it isn't much of a concern, although it was a little dirty from the box. Note that it is not a light chair - it is made for the patio. That's exactly what I'm looking for so I'm happy.

It is also VERY comfortable. You can sit upright or lean back to recline (requiring some energy to lean), and it has a locking mechanism which you can set at any point.

My only thoughts for improvement is that it really should come with some directions for setting up. I say that because it isn't clear how exactly it is done. I quickly learned, but I sat in it before the base legs were spread completely apart and I could have hurt myself (I almost did). So if anyone buys note that to set it up you must ensure that the front and back bottom legs must be pushed entirely apart, and at that point the chair will be in the upright position. This might not make sense now but it will once you do it. After figuring it out I realized it's easy, but some directions would be useful just so no one hurts themselves.

All in all a great purchase and definitely worth the price.

Not for petites!
The chair is indeed light wieght and seems to be very durable and weather resistant. Althought it's very light for its size, I wouldn't say it is portable. In fact, it's quite bulky and difficult to carry around. BUT I have to admit it is very comfy --as advertised. However, It's not made for petites! I am 5 feet tall and cannot come back to sitting position without help. You are supposed to use the bar at the bottom of the chair to help yourself by pushing it when you want to come from horizontal position to sitting position but I don't reach the bar so I cannot use it. I need to use my husband's help instead. If you're short like me and still decide to purchase this chair, make sure you're not alone when you recline in it or you may find yourself resting in your chair for days until help comes to rescue you.

Fabric ripped apart in less than 4 months.
The frame is good. The fabric tore apart, next to the seam, in less than 4 months of normal use making the DELUXE chair junk. I came back online to see if I could find a warranty for this product. I was not able to find one!

Best chair
I bought this chair as a gift. It is well made and holds up in the hottest sun without the fabric sagging.
I hightly recommend this chair to any one that spends time outdoors reading as I do. It is super comfortable to sit or lounge in.
Great price ..I only wish it would come in different colors.
