Product Description: With her shining gift for "exquisite and enchanting" (BookPage) storytelling, Jude Deveraux sweeps readers away in a breathtaking follow-up to her beloved New York Times bestseller, The Summerhouse -- where a marvelous new adventure awaits.

Magic most definitely resides in the Maine summerhouse where the mysterious Madame Zoya has granted the innermost wishes of its visitors. Now, three women have come to this special place with one thing in common: a painful past they would each like to rewrite. Amy, who hides a heartbreaking loss behind her seemingly perfect marriage and family...Faith, a widow in her thirties whose deepest grief is for a man from years ago...and Zoƫ, an artist shunned by her hometown for reasons she doesn't know, after a traumatic night erased her memory. With their mystical powers, Madame Zoya and her sister Primrose are about to transport the trio to eighteenth-century England to alter Amy's ancestry. But although surprises await each of them, will stepping back in time bring the women the happy endings they seek?

5 stars Another Great Book!
Another great book by Jude Deveraux-includes hope, love, and possibilities. I really enjoyed reading it.

5 stars Even better than The Summerhouse
I read Summerhouse and I really didn't believe that Ms. Deveraux could top it, but Return to Summerhouse is even better. This book made me laugh and cry and I couldn't wait to see what Amy would do next and how Faith and Zoe would respond to her. To add to the joy of reading this book, were the three-dimensional male characters.

While reading, I grew more emotionally involved in the plot and Amy's quest to save Tristan, who lived in another century. When Amy, Faith, and Zoe were transported back in time by Madame Zoya to save Tristan, I was too.

4 stars Lots of Heart
My first Devereaux read. I liked this story because it had a lot of heart. There was compassion, redemption, forgiveness, loyalty, love and smarts, not to mention some humor. I liked that although the characters were quite disparate in their personalities, the story found a way to bring them together not only as friends, but created opportunities for healing and growth for each of them.

3 stars summerhouse worth the return

3 stars Good read, but lacking
I have not read a great deal of her works, but picked this up on a whim. I enjoyed the book, to a point. I think I would have enjoyed it much more had she taken it a step farther and fleshed out what happened with Faith and Zoe, not just a brief summary at the end. I felt almost cheated the way that part was glossed over. But, all in all, it held my attention and was an easy read. Nothing that you had to think too much about, could put down if something came up, but still entertaining enough to keep you interested. Definately what I would call a "summer read".
