FUN AND INFORMATIVE
This magazine is a major plus in all departments, flirty, informative, trendy, and flattering with reasonable, realistic advice (which you can either take or leave -- a major plus is that it isn't mainly centered on size 2 waifs and makes sound fashion and beauty advice for the every woman).
Of course some of this is so over the top one would never dare to to buy some of these products though the fun part is looking and there is so much sound advice that the reader/consumer is then able to make realistic determinations from these suggestions and incorporate them into her everyday life plus....kill me, I adore looking at what I can only dream about NOT having....and planning on the occasional splurge in my life....investments so worth the money.
Beauty tips out of the world...some fav Bravo tid-bits...and just plain fun to browse and dream and I adore...did I say I adore the stickers to mark where to go back and peruse all the must have's that you'll likely never purchase but just makes dreaming more fun....Plus I've actually gotten some fabulous killer advice (both beauty and fashion do's and don'ts that have totally been worth the price of admission)
Love it....Second best to the beauty bible Allure!

Zero Stars
I have a free one year subscription to this magazine and I can't wait until it ends. I was expecting a magazine full of articles, shopping advice, bargains, etc. What I received was a magazine packed with advertising, items I could never afford, and boring personal stories from a bunch of "24 year olds" that are really 40. Seriously, even if they were 24, how is that even relevant when they're just explaining why they like wearing white shirts when they have dark jeans on?
If you have a lot of disposable income and want to find a few 10% off codes, then this is the magazine for you.

I love this magazine! If you want to learn about style and how to dress - Purchase Lucky! Very affordable and comparable to In Style magazine.

Cute ideas, but otherwise too pricey fashions
This magazine is mostly to admire the fashions, unless you have a pretty big expenditure account. They do a nice job including new fashions, trends, beauty products and reviews, and home decorating ideas - but almost everything is pretty upscale and unrealistically expensive. Frequenting the pages are outfit pieces well over $300 each, shoes almost exclusively over $500, and beauty products over $60.
While I definitely did not expect this to be in any way a bargain hunters magazine, I certainly didn't expect only 10 or so pages per 120+ page issue with items under $50. It is nice and informative to browse the often outlandish fashions and keep up to date with what's in and what's up and coming, but most of the fashions are way out of budget for most people to achieve the looks they promote.
Overall, this magazine is informative, nice to look at, and always up to date on fashions - but seems to promote almost exclusively very expensive items for one to only dream about purchasing. If you're looking for a fashion magazine with items you can go out and purchase with a tight or moderate budget, don't bother. But if you're looking for a mindless read with some good ideas and new fashions, this might be the way to go.

Not a replacement for typical women's mags - and that's why I like it.
I've subscribed to this magazine since 2001. To help you avoid all misconceptions, there are no stories - it's not a "women's" magazine in that sense. The magazine focuses on the latest styles and fashions and, in my opinion, does not insist on designer name brands to meet these styles but will rather focus on a particular "look" that can be replicated. Many of the items in the actual magazine are costly designer items, but what I've always used the magazine as was to provide a blue print to copy a certain look and as a guide for fantastic shopping all over the world.
This is much more like a shopping survivor's handbook - there's no frilly nonsense, just down to business fashion ideas.
I give it 4 stars because in the time I've had the magazine, I've seen it go from almost all content to almost all advertising - there is a lot of advertising - but that's the problem with fashion magazines as they get to be more successful.
