Just 2 Cool
If I could add more stars, this page would be full of gold stars and if there was something I just had to say bad about this album that would be that it's just ten tracks. After you hear the Bake Sale you won't be able to get enough. But apart from that, this album is lyrically on point. Mickey rips it apart on the track "Mickey Rocks". The Bake Sale is TRUE hip-hop minus the everyday same old radio trash (RAP, wannbe hip-hop) people are forced to listen to. I really commend Mickey and Chuck for there crafty sample of early 90's and 80's Hip-hop beats. NWA, Run DMC, Salt and Pepa, and more. If you are looking for true hip-hop I highly recommend this album. It's just 2 COOL.

He's Mikey.....he rocks
See what the internet can do?
Cool Kids inital EP release is a breath of creativity. With pop princesses and sound alike bands taking over music these days, it's nice to find a group that sets themselves apart. The timing of creativity couldn't be better.
Overall, "Bake Sale" is masterfully written rhymes put together with some nicely creative beats - all in a retro-style hip-hop package. "Black Mags" has been out for some time and the accompanying music video made the listener curious as to exactly where this duo may be heading. The rest of the album falls in line. Every song is unique and no "fillers" added. The 10 song EP is just what an album should be.
If you get a chance to explore some popular video sharing sites, check out some of the things these guys have done. The "everything sucks" rant about today's music is dead on. Also check out some of the freestyle EP's that are floating around. They won't disappoint.
"Bake Sale" - a refreshing listen in an overall stale music world.

Incredible
This being the Cool Kids first ACTUAL CD that's not a single, it's so impressive. I first heard the Cool Kids a little over a year ago and have been patiently waiting for this album to drop. It finally did and I'm so impressed.
These guys are going to be huge. If you haven't heard anything other than the stuff on this CD you really should check out the MySpace page. The music they're coming out with now might be even better.
Some of the goofiest/most hilarious rhymes I've heard, with thick driving bass, and interesting beats. The only thing I can describe it as is, Fresh.
If you like good Hip-Hop, this is for you.

Cool kids for a hot summer
This is a fresh blast from the past by a couple of guys who know how to have fun. If you need some jams to bump in your car, chillin at the beach, or hangin with your kids, this album is a sure crowd pleasure.
You would be there if you could.
