Boys, boys, boys!
If you have sons you will really appreciate the 1/2 hour of peace and quiet this game provides...Boys aged 7-14 will appreciate the graphics and all the action. Parents will enjoy the (largely) non-violent games and how engaged children are in the stories the game creates. Set a time limit on game playing and let the kids enjoy this one!

Pretty good
I recently bought this game Transformers Decepticons for DS
I didn't know much about it and i thought it would be a game like Spiderman 2 for DS, luckily, i was wrong.
It seemed more like The Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, except you can not destroy buildings and it has DS graphics, of course.
The good things i found in this game are the ability to scan and become pretty much every vehicle in the game, you could grab almost anything and use it as a weapon. And you get guns. A lot of guns. Well more like rockets.
I also liked becoming a jet or helicopter, and flying around town, hunting every autobot down.
Overall this a great kids game, and can provide hours of fun. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Great game
I have not had this much fun with a Nintendo DS game since I got Transformers: Autobots Ds game! HAHA! Anyway, this is a very good game. To start with, the graphics are amazing (for a DS game) there are huge enviremonts to roam freely in between missions. Envirements include a monstrous city, Hoover Dam, another small town, and the Desert in Quatar, which is unique to the Decepticons version( in the autobots game, instead of Quatar you get to go to the arctic). The game has a little over 20 missions, less than the autobots version, but a lot harder. This game has some very hard and irritating levels, but the game is still a blast. at the beginning of the game, you create your own character. Whenever you are in freeplay, you play as your character. Freeplay consists of do what ever you want time. Best described as a E 10+ version of Grand Theft Auto. You can scan dozens of vehicle forms to change into at any time. Though you play your character for a portion of missions, you also get to play movie characters including: Barricade, Blackout, Brawl, Starscream, and, of course, Megatron. When you beat the game however, you can play any character in freeplay. The Multiplayer, which consists of a kill-each-other type thing, is fun but the envirements are not big enough. You can play any character that you have already beaten a mission with. You can also hook up on line to play Allspark wars with other people using a Wi-Fi connection. I have not tried it yet. The story is about the same as the movie until the end. The entire end is about how Starscream betrays you and runs with the allspark. So the final boss battle is not against Prime (you fight and kill Prime earlier) but against Starscream. What ends up happening is rather shocking. Overall I recommend getting both the Decepticons version and the autobot version. If you plan on only getting one, get the Decepticons version. Be aware that you need two games to play multiplayer. Oh, and another thing, this story completely leaves out any human characters, including Sam Whitwicky. 5/5
