Almost didn't buy b/c of other reviews... GLAD I BOUGHT IT!!
I saw this product in the store, and nearly didn't buy it due to other reviews saying the game didn't play without the CD in the drive and that it didn't play on laptops.
I bought it anyway, and took a risk...
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME! It works PERFECTLY on my LAPTOP and works WITHOUT the CD in the drive.
Not sure what the others are talking about... but this version of Scrabble works great for me!

It is a nuisance to keep the CD in the computer each time I want to play. Like the faster loading too.

No network play function but can play without CD in your computer.
Old version Scrabble 2 requires CD in the computer but has a LAN or WLAN multi-player mode. But this one does not support LAN or WLAN multi-player mode.

Finally a Scrabble game that works with XP Pro
I have been very disappointed trying to find a Scrabble game that works on my new computer that runs on XP Pro. This game works!

I love the dictionary that can be turned on during play. I don't like the fact that the disk has to be in the computer in order to play the game.
