Product Description: Biting fleas are more than just a nuisance for your cat. Left unchecked, they can cause serious disorders such as flea allergy dermatitis, secondary skin infections, tapeworms, and even anemia. This topical flea treatment stops fleas before they become a problem. Providing a full month of protection, it begins working in minutes, killing 98-100% of the fleas on cats within 12 hours, and 99% of flea larvae within 20 minutes. Plus, since dead fleas can't lay eggs and dead larvae can't hatch, the flea's life cycle is halted. Any new fleas your cat encounters are killed within two hours--preventing re-infestation for as long as four weeks. In fact, Advantage does such a good job breaking the flea's life cycle, there's no need to treat your cat's environment. Great price for this product!
I've used only this flea treatment since it was first introduced. It really gets rid of fleas . . . fast! It's safe for the cats and very convenient to use. I have one indoor and one indoor/outdoor cat. I treat the indoor cat less often because fewer fleas are brought into the house by the in/out cat. I recommend this product over all the other flea products out there. Amazon's price can't be beat!

Nothing but success
We've used Advantage on our cats for 11 years and have had nothing but success with it. In fact we very often go much longer than the 30 days between doses and still tend to remain flea-free. We strongly recommend Advantage.

Pricey, but good!
This is THE stuff for fleas. It's easy, quick and long lasting. I feel it lasts longer than 30 days at certain times of the year - cooler months. It costs, but it's well worth it. Amazon's price is the best I've found so far.

So far the only one that works
I have two cats and live near other people with pets. Between that and the warm climate, fleas are a major concern, and I've suffered through multiple infestations. I've tried almost all the anti-flea products available, and so far Advantage is the only one that gets rid of fleas within 24 hours and keeps them away for a whole month. I've also found the application of Advantage to be less invasive than the others, since the small tube doesn't scratch the cats' skin. And since it's such a small amount to apply, there's less chance of the cats managing to rub it off themselves before it has a chance to work.
The only complaint I might have is that I wish it were less expensive. But even then, it compares favorably to Frontline in all respects. And it's definitely better than any of the cheaper stuff, none of which seems to have any effect whatsoever. Perhaps in the future I'll find something better, but until then I'll stick with Advantage.

price is right!
I use advantage on my 2 cats and it's expensive - so I had been using an australian online source, till I found out that might not be the same formula. SO I now order from amazon and it arrives quickly, and the price is not much more than I was paying befoe. Thanks amazon!
