Easy to Use Tray
I have three small dogs and use this tray with either Hartz training pads or the 23x23 pads(2) from DHMEDICAL online. The tray works very well. My male squats when inside but sometimes I wish the raised sides were a little higher.

MY Dog wanted no part of it!
My mini doxie was 18 mos old when I ordered this. He was trained to go on a wee wee pad instead of going outside. Unfortunately,after i purchased this he chose to go on the bare floor instead of using the floor protector tray. After 1 week of this I just put back the pad and removed the tray. I probably should have started him with the tray from the begining. Now it's too late.

Life Saver!
We purchased this on a whim and it's been a lifesaver. We've got an old Scottie who while paper trained had a tendency to miss the plastic pad we put under the wee wee pads.

Figuring what the heck we ordered this and ever since no more missed pads. Our dog just plopped right on it and hit dead center with no urging from us. Nice! It's not perfect in that it can leak when the pad is slightly missed and fluid seeps under the pad. But we found that if you align the pad correctly that problem is greatly lessened.

A good buy in our case and we're very happy. Also clean up is easy it's all plastic and easily hosed off.

Works for me and my dog
Although my dog is only 9lbs, I needed as large a tray as I could find that had a raised edge. My dog is 16 YO and was used to a spread of newspapers on a large garbage bag. Even folding up the edges of the papers didn't always keep the urine from sometimes running off the edge or ensure my dog would get her rear over the edge of the plastic.

I think I checked out every puppy paper tray and dog toilet box there is on the web. For the price, this seemed the best item overall. I was right. The Iris tray is sturdy, easy to use and super easy to clean. I needed a good size that wasn't hard to move around since I live in a split level. (She can't go down stairs.) The edges couldn't be too high or wide for her to adapt to.

I use newspapers in mine. I just have to position them right and tear and fold a small bit here and there. I've even just laid them inside the tray over the bars, and that works fine for my dog. I'd say rambunctious puppies probably need the papers locked under the bars.

I purchased the largest tray 35.5 X 23 and crossed my fingers it would work. My dog adapted to this tray immediately. Even during a temporary urinary tract problem she always used the tray. I have no more runoff problems. If only this product had been available years ago!

Not for my puppy
My dog only used this a few times. If she peed too close to the edge, it leaked out between the sides and onto the carpet. If you fold it up to move it, it is clumsy because there is no way to fasten it closed.
Would not recommend it for a small dog.
