Scoop Free Carpet
I have purchased many litter carpets this one seems to work the best so far. Litter still some how manaages to make it on to hte floor but in much less quantities.

Pretty good at catching litter.
Does a pretty good job. It certainly doesn't catch all the litter. It also gets embedded and its hard to shake it out. I find I have to shake it off daily or it gets tracked around quite a bit.

Better Than I Thought!
I have had several different mats/carpets to catch litter from kitties' feet, and they've all worked so-so, but not great.

When I bought the Scoop Free litter box recently, I decided to get all the extras (hood, carpet) to really maximize the system. I have to say that this plastic carpet works much better than I expected it would. The way the plastic fibers are woven and matted really allow for lots of nooks and crannies to catch stray pieces of litter. It works significantly better than any other litter mat I've used in the past.

It does have a funny smell at first (I'm guessing that goes away) that my cats didn't really like. But they seem to have gotten over it.

It's an excellent addition to the Scoop Free litter box. Highly recommended.

Could be bigger for the price...
Bought this in early Feb 2008, it's almost 3 months later and certainly this "carpet" cuts down on litter tracking, but it's relatively small for the price when compared to other litter mats. And the real negative - my cats like to urinate on it instead of inside the litter box, so I've had to soak it in a bleach mix about 6 times now, and unfortunately the litter that's been tracked in doesn't come out when it's getting cleaned. Not sure this thing is going to make it another 3 months in my house.

Scoopfree carpet
Collects a lot of the litter however there is still a lot that the cats drag off the mat. Also a little pricey.
