Great kid's music that won't annoy adults!
These Rockabye cds are great. We have about 6 of them. We buy the one's that are of the bands we like. That way the kids listen to them before bed and we don't mind because we are singing the words in our heads to our favorite songs. Who ever created these is ingenious. No words and the music is changed just enough to make it sound kid friendly yet is so true to the original songs that you can't help humming along. Not too mention when a song comes on some where else I find my oldest humming along. It is so cool. I recommend all of these cds. Buy your favorite band, the kids will love it.

Surprisingly Beautiful Rendition of some of the Pumpkins Best
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this lullaby CD was full of beautiful music. So many of the lullaby CD's out there are HORRIBLE. The fact that it was Pumpkins covers made it a MUST have for me & my baby. It is so soothing. I play it at nap time - that way the music coming through the baby monitor is something I enjoy listening to while he sleeps... I think he actually likes it too, but who can tell with babies? :)

five stars from a 17 year old insomniac
This is a review of the entire rockabye baby series, the renditions of smashing pumpkins is my favorite of the series so I am posting my review here.

For the last few years I have had problems sleeping. Sometimes I would go three or four nights with out sleep and other nights I would fall in to a light slumber at 5:30 am only to wake up at 6:00 am for school. Listening to music never helped me, I would just lay in bed awake for hours because I would be thinking about the lyrics, melodies, instrumentation, etc.

A few weeks ago I stumbled across the rockabye baby series, and suddenly part of my problem was solved. Even though I still go nights with out sleep and most nights I don't fall asleep until the sun has already started to rise, when I get in bed and attempt to fall asleep I put on these lullabies and fall asleep right away.

I would love to tell you that these songs are amazing from beginning to end but I can't because I'm never awake to hear the ends.

Modern Lullabies
This is great lullabye music. If you want something modern yet soothing to your baby this is a great CD for both. I also bought the Tool rendition which I like, but the Smashing Pumkins is my favorite.

tonight, tonight, EVERY night!!
Owning almost every Rockabye Baby! cd in the collection, I must say the Smashing Pumpkins lullaby rendition is my favorite alongside the Cure and Bjork. There is not one track to skip, as all of them are wonderfully remade to relect the "softest" side of these songs. My son LOVES this cd and he has impeccable taste for a 4 month old....
