the installation is impossibly difficult.

to keep the silicon nice and uniform with the plastic case,
a lot of effort is required, despite the "easy installation"
said on the case.

I managed to get my case on... except the hinges broke.

It works okay but it constantly moves because of the missing hinges

I believe this would be really good if the assembly was easier

This is a good case worth the $10. The silicon skin is a nice touch. There's a similar case with out the silicon by Joytech which is sturdier. It comes with 2 stylus pens they are not the exact replica of the original stylus pens but it does the job. The build of this case would probably be an 8/10. I dropped my DS Lite from my locker today and the cover popped off one of the hinges but nothing cracked or broke, which is good.

This case is better than I had expected. It has a silicone skin cover that fits perfectly over the DS, and a crystal clear plastic cover that goes over the skin. Its not to big and bulky like a lot of other plastic DS covers, nor is it to thin and slick like a lot of the silicone covers you can find. The only buttons that the case really interferes with are the L and R shoulder buttons, but they are still able to be pushed, and its something you can quickly get used too. The 2 bonus stylus pens it come with a SLIGHTLY larger than the standard DS Stylus. They fit more snugly into the DS. So if you have had bad luck with your stylus falling out (which I have not, but still) then these stylus are worth having.

On a last note, the cover is very easy to remove, and a set of instructions are on the back of the package. Also you must use both peices of the cover. Just using the silicone skin, or just the plastic cover wont work.
