definitely get one size up --- despite the "true to size" claim
In the winter, i live in tights. i hate pants so it's tights and a skirt virtually every day in the cold season, so i'm quite the expert. I've tried all kinds from Fogal (Swiss made, same level as Wolford) to H&M, to everything in between. My mainstay has been Nordstrom house brand tights b/c they're practically indestructible, thick & stretchy, and ultra-ultra-ultra opaque.
However, i love the idea of footless tights (so you don't have to wash them every day), with a wider waistband, and who doesn't want the slimming factor? I'm a size 4 skirt, size 6 pant (thanks so my booty) so i fall into category size B. But i like to be comfortable, and wanted to get the next size up C. the salesgirl was so insistent, telling me to get a size B ("because Spanx are made true to size unlike other brands")and that i wouldn't regret it.
Well... i did regret it!! Spanx in my "true size" are only *barely* more comfortable than regular bodyshapers b/c of the wider waistband, but i still felt pinched and sausage tight. It shaped me, sure---but i couldn't wait to get home so i could shed my tights! why buy a pair of tights if you don't even feel like wearing them? Defeats the whole point. They are still uncomfortable and binding.
In my opinion, if you want super sucking shaping slimming effects, get your true size. It will do it's magic, but if you can handle the binding, bandagey feeling, more power to you.
If you just want a great, versatile pair of tights that you can feel comfy in, get one size up. Ahhh.. size C is perfect.
I would not wear these as leggings as they are not 100% opaque when stretched around thighs/butt.

Completely Overpriced
I have tried numerous control garments, shapers, etc.. so I was very interested to see what all the hoopla was about.
I am quite disappointed..Dont get me wrong, its a decent product, but nothing about it justifies the price. We're talking about a decent quality brand of control top hosiery here folks.. nothing more.
Are footless pantyhose really that valuable?

I like these tights!
I've been really happy with the durability of these tights. I've worn them at least 20 times and they haven't snagged or run at all. They've also been through the washer and dryer several times and look "good as new." They make your bottom look great in tight pants, even pants made of thin material, and they destroy panty lines. However, I wish they were a bit less expensive.
