The best review
This game was overall about a three and a half to a four out of five. The game play was sweet and fighting as the strongest jedi ever was super fun. However, the game was pretty short. At about nine levels an average gamer could take from one to three hours to easily beat the game. The graphics are pretty good for the psp and the controls are pretty simple. Many complain about loading time but compared to other games I have played I found that the loading wasn't to bad. Others also complain about mid fight loading and camera angles. I don't know what combos other players routinely use but I have only had the game stop and load twice. I found no problems with the camera angle. However, the enimies were very easy to beat especially with force lighting powers. Order 66 mode was OK but I still found the enimies simple but got more challenging wave after wave. Another problem I found was boss levels were pretty trivial and there should have been more variety. Something close to three AT-ST's and four Rancor was pretty easy for me to beat. However, Historic mode was pretty cool but character variety was scarce. Things I would also add would be more character customization and maybe a ship builder or the ability for two light sabers. A second game following suggestions would be a must buy and this game is worth a rent and getting it used or waiting for a price drop would be smart. It's just too Short!

May the Force be with You!
I am a huge Star Wars fan, and when I saw The Force Unleashed coming out I knew I was going to get it. And when I did buy it and play it, well, I have never liked a PSP game as much as this! It is so much fun! There are so many force powers: Repulse, Lightnig, Choke, Sith Scorcher, Saber Throw, Force Push, it seems like it is unlimited!
It is a little hard at first, but it gets easier as you go through the game and upgrade your powers.
There are a whole bunch of different enemies too: Stromtroopers, Jet Troopers, Wookies, Rancors, AT-STs, Felucians, Droids, Jedi, and even Sith! You can also change your costume, lightsaber handle, lightsaber blade color, and more! It is just a really fun game! Lucasarts did a really good job!

The other side of the Dark side.
This game is awesome. I thought the psp version would be lame and I was impressed with the game play. The story is addictive that you do not want to stop playing. Over all I give it a 4 out of five. Five out of five would be close but not quite there since it is on the psp. The PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360 make this game even better. So may the force be with you as you go play Star Wars the Force Unleashed. Don't under estimate the power of the dark side.

WAIT UNTIL IT'S $20.
I know it's done by a different company than the 360 and PS3, but Lucas should have been paying more attention to this game as well. First of all Starkillers' lightsaber is not held right. Does he hold his lightsaber backwards? NO! He holds it like every other character......LAME. Second, the screen freezes when the player goes into the "God of War button mini-game" and the mini-game is way too long. Three to four button presses is okay, but sometimes it goes as high as eight. Finally, I will give it props for the classic Jedi battles mode, but why couldn''t it have been on the 360 and PS3 versions? JUST WAIT AND BUY THIS WHEN IT'S $20!!!

The Force Unleashed
Star Wars the Force Unleashed is a great game for the psp. It is among the best like God of War, GTA Liberty City Stories, Patapon, Crisis Core, and many others. The storyline is absolutely stunning, with great voice acting. If somebody didn't know anything about Star Wars, they'd think this game was a movie. The action in this game is simply amazing. In previous games your force powers were weak. But now when you play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice you feel so powerful with lightning, choke, and repulse; just to name a few. The environments and level design are gorgeous. Almost everything is destructable in the levels. But along with these wonderful things about the game, there are some things worth noticing. The cutscene graphics are blocky and aren't anywhere near as good as on consoles.(Not a big deal.) There are long loading times anywhere from 30-60 seconds. In gameplay, every once in awhile, everything freezes for about a second. Fighting countless enemies can be tedious and a bit repetitive at times. The camera does its best to stay behind Starkiller, the secret apprentice, and for the most part it works, but,it did bother me once or twice. For me though, none of these things really bothered me and aren't that big. This is a very good game with good boss battles and gameplay, and I'd reccomend it. It delivers spectacularly on the psp and is worth the 40 bucks. Any psp owner who plays games on it will probably love the force unleashed.
