A reviewer in Florida
This tape went way too fast to understand or practice the moves. Being on VHS vice DVD made it too hard to back up and review the steps. Cuban style was covered on the cha-cha which was good and hand movement instruction on the waltz and rhumba were useful.

Doesn't really teach
If are interested in actually learning steps, I found this tape almost useless. The whole thing seems hurried and it doesn't really teach well. Probably the worst tape I've seen for that. I would see one use for this tape: after you've become an intermediate level dancer, this tape may give you some ideas on how to dance properly, to "flow." The instructors are obviously very skilled and professional.

Good tape
It covered about four different steps for each of six different dances and was quite clear and understandable. I think it's very useful as a beginning/intermediate tape.Too me, it seemed quite step-oriented without a lot on technique, etc, and that would have made it more interesting, but it was quite good on balance.

Slow Dancing
Found this tape rather slow. Great for the beginner - not really an intermediate tape.

Easy-to-follow and elegant
Following a beginning ballroom dance class, my fiance and I wanted to review the steps we learned as well as learn a few new ones. This video was well suited to the task. One of the main benefits of the video is that it highlights the leader's footwork. Teresa Mason also throws in tips on posture, stance and other relevant style issues. Each lesson is followed by a quick demonstration that makes you want to hit the dance floor.
