4 stars Great aerobic work out
I bought this because I wanted to excersize at home and this seemed like it would be a good work out. I have so far tried the first video of the 2 pack and it is an hour long. It was a very good aerobic work out and I couldn't get through the whole hour (45min) before I was really tired. I hadn't worked out in a while so this really tired me out. If you didn't own the beginner or any of his other videos the tae-bo moves are a little hard to catch on to at first because they go so fast. Once you learn them (it doesn't take too long) you will be getting a great aerobic and muscular work out.


3 stars A Great Workout for Average People, Not Athletes
Yes, for the average person, the Get Ripped Advanced 1 & 2 will be a difficult and challenging workout. However, for atletes and those who have been doing kickboxing hardcore for years, this DVD will fall way short. There are too many slow motion reps and too much wasted time between sets. There's no way to really break a sweat unless you improvise, which is what I've had to do in order to benefit from these. I wear 16-oz gloves and punch and kick an 80 lb. heavy bag. I also skip the slow motion moves, and go right to the fast reps. I continue doing the fast reps while he begins the next set of slow motion moves. Once he starts doing the next move full speed, that's when I switch. It may be hard to understand what I've written, but kickboxing veterans will understand. The girl to watch is Shelly, the one on the right side of the screen. I have no idea why they put the goofy one on the cover. Shelly has an incredible body and unbelievable strength and flexibility. She should have been on the cover. The water breaks are annoying too, and in the beginning, I heard the constant counting in my sleep. I don't mean to complain because at least there's a DVD that I can work with to get a great workout. Average people are everywhere and they will be very pleased with this DVD, but if they actually stick with this workout program, making it part of their lives and not just a 'phase', and become athletes and superfit, then they'll want something harder than this one.


5 stars BEST WORKOUT EVER!!!!
THIS IS THE BEST WORKOUT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. I'M THE KIND OF PERSON WHO GETS BORED WITH EASY STUFF, SO THIS VIDEO WAS A CHALLENGE FOR ME. I USE IT IN COMBINATION WITH FAT BLASTER WORKOUT, ULTIMATE BOOTCAMP, AND AB BOOTCAMP. IT'S AWESOME. GOD BLESS BILLY BLANKS FOR MAKING THESE WORKOUTS!!!!

4 stars What a great start for beginners!
This DVD has really helped me jump start my new weight loss goals. I've been able to build more cardio strength, which is critical for me as an asthmatic. I can now powerwalk at a nearly 50% faster pace because I'm also doing Taebo! What a great addition to my cross training workout =)
