Buy this video for your children!!!
A wonderful *introduction* to skiing for children. It is, of course, NOT meant to take the place of actual instruction on the slopes, whether from parents or from ski school. The reviewer below assumes a simple video can do too much. But your son or daughter will be *way* more prepared if s/he watches this video one or more times first - in terms of knowing what to expect once they actually are out in the snow. And that is invaluable! Sure made my youngsters more confident and willing to give it a try. Highly recommended!

Not for 1st time skiers
This video is not for people with young children. I bought this video with the idea it would give beginner tips. It didn't! It did give bits of information on equipment, turns, and racing, but never mentioned stopping. I think stopping should be the first lesson taught. In my opinion, this video would be good for someone at least 8 years old who has taken some lessons and wants a review before they hit the slopes.
