Ten things adults need to know
This is a beautiful tape that highlights the key things adults need to know about children. I strongly recommend viewing it. The photos of the children are priceless in the emotion and cognition that they express. My only negative comment is how it is narrated - I would have preferred a voice over and all attention focused on the activities of the children to give a full, mental impact of what shildren nedd from adults!

Even more than I expected
I thought this might be a run of the mill parenting video, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of information, the way it was presented and the fact that it seems appropriate for mothers and professionals working with families alike. I also use this video to do parent training for teen boys and girls so that they can understand that babies and children need far more than to have their basic physical needs met. I am a children's mental health therapist and do training for therapeutic foster parents, in addition to working with the families of our program's foster children. I would highly recommend it for parents and for professionals working in the field of child development for training purposes for families and staff alike.

Great for new parents and daycare providers, early educators
This is an extrememly concise, but informativeand entertaining video about how crucial it is that early on children get interaction with adults that can aid their brain development. I teach high risk parents of infants, some of whom have been neglectful and abusive. The video says volumes in a clear way how if children don't get the right stimulation, it can be devestating.
