Product Description: Unlike the blue/silver Target exclusive movie continuity Arcee, this version of Arcee is Deluxe-sized and slightly lessfeminine in appearance; her face sculpt appears to be semi-humanoid Her somewhat impromptu appearance resonates the overall movie continuity aesthetic. Her slender exoskeletal-looking frame is reasonably well-armored, and sheâs equipped with a projectile-firing blaster. She appears to be pretty well articulated. Arceeâs character bio places her on Earth briefly, prior to Bumblebeeâs arrival, although as the battle escalated Arcee was reassigned to another effort where her stealth skills would be of greater value. Arcee was apparently trained by Ironhide. Her relocation sector is listed as the Charii system, where she works to neutralize a Decepticon splinter cell. This version of Arcee seems to be a little more aggressive than some of her counterpart incarnations.

4 stars A GIRL Transformer!
My daughter asked for a "girl transformer" for her 4th birthday (and a pink fishing pole). It took me some effort to find this, but she was really happy to have her OWN Transformer (she has a 6 year old brother). She isn't able to transform it herself, but she loves it just the same. The joints are made to pop apart, rather than break, which is great. The only thing I really dislike is that if you lose the crossbow, your motorcycle no longer has a seat. The projectile is just the tailpipe and not critical, but the seat helps hold the motorcycle together. So far, we've had it a month and still have all the parts.

5 stars Small but Fun
This is probably the only female deluxe transformer from the movie. She did not appear in the movie, because the director said it would take too long to explain about female transformers.
Arcee turns into a motorcycle. She is the smallest deluxe figure, but is taller than most. Her crossbow is hard to fit on to her arm, so you have to press hard for a while for it to stay on.

4 stars The onlye female autobot that i know of...
Well, it is a nicely designed motorcycle. The fact that the backwards wheel splits in half and still works as a wheel is just amazing. Great engineering.

It is also a nice and pretty femenine robot. I bought one for me, but it was quickly adopted by my 4 years old daughter, so i had to buy another one for the shelf...

I'd love to see her with a softer face. The face they'd put on her is too robotic for my taste (just to fit the designs of the movie). Anyways, it is a nice robotic toy, one of the few female bots you'll ever find.

1 stars Overated, overpriced and unimpressed
This item should not be advertised as a toy. It is an overpriced item geared toward the older collector, not children. Very small parts, (major choking hazards, especially the pea size head which pops off easily). Also due to the small size, transforming is difficult. A waste of $20 in my case.

4 stars Classy craftsmanship!
This remake of an Autobot favourite was quite surprise for me! I wasn't actually aware that there was a movie deluxe Arcee until I saw it sitting there on a storeshelf - I picked it up straightaway and am in no way dissappointed.

Overall, the figure is very pleasing - the vehicle mode is excellent. I'm no motorcycle person, but I suspect the makers have essentially taken most design cues from Yamaha's YZF-R1, which is a beautiful bike in real-life, although Arcee's model number (RC 1300) suggests that she has an even bigger displacement than the R1's massive 998cc!

Perhaps the most impressive aspect in this figure is the way that they've managed to transform an obviously feminine robot into a very seamless vehicle. The rear-wheel splitting is an especially sweet part of the entire transformation, and the rest of the bits fold in very nicely together. The crossbow bolt fitting onto the side as the exhaust pipe and the little stand on the opposite side are a couple of very nice detail touches. A pity that the face could certainly have been done better.

All in all, Arcee is one of my favourites of the movie line-up toys, and certainly excellent value for money. Needless to say, I think this range is aimed less at children and more towards and adult audience, and as such is engineered for poseability and aesthetics rather than durability.
