5 stars Nurpu - Nepal 24 years later (and more)
Having seen a Warren Miller production entiled "The Edge" over 24 years ago that explored the rivers of Nepal, I have been looking forward to an updated and more contemporary production. This movie, though less narrative than the Warren Miller style it is a much stronger visual production and, of course, much more contemporary in terms of the camera, the music and the modern day kayaking scene. I recommend this movie to anyone who appreciates the outdoors, whether an avid kayaker or not. Not only is the Nepal footage great, it is matched by outstanding scenes and whitewater action from three other continents (North and South America and Europe). Well done and worthwhile!
