Product Description: The legendary Moody Blues present this special musical collection, their first live album without an orchestra, since their historic 1969 release The Moody Blues Live + 5. Recorded live at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on June 11 during their 2005 World tour, in which they played New Zealand for the first time and returned to Australia, this rare live recording is pure Moody Blues. With the Moodies' unique brand of music that has kept them at the top of their profession for 40 years, and has maintained them as one of the biggest live touring acts of all-time, this is a truly sparkling performance from one of the world's greatest and best-loved rock bands. Featuring Justin Hayward on electric, acoustic guitar and vocals; John Lodge on bass, acoustic guitar and vocals; and Graeme Edge on drums and percussion, the rock legends magically perform selections from their incredible roster of musical masterpieces including "Nights In White Satin," "I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock & Roll Band)" and "Your Wildest Dreams," along with such rarely performed live gems as "Higher and Higher," "The Actor" and "Are You Sitting Comfortably?" The Moodies are also joined by their friends and colleagues Norda Mullen on flute and guitar, Gordon Marshall on drums and percussion, Paul Bliss on keyboards, and Bernie Barlow on backing vocals and keyboards, making it a magical night to remember. This concert offers Moody Blues fans all around the world a chance to experience a live performance of their biggest and best hits.

Totally bad
My wife loves music videos and we have a collection, however, the sound quality on this dvd is not worth listening to!
Don't bother with this one.....

Trust me....buy this !
Don't hesitate to buy this awesome DVD ! Read the excellent reviews here...they say it all regarding the positives...so I won't re-hash ! Instead...here's one fan's opinion regarding some of the negative comments. We all have our thoughts and feelings to express...that's what this forum is all about...it's what makes this fun...but don't let the negative ones hold you back !
Regarding Ray Thomas :
Get over it people...he's retired...and from all accounts it was HIS choice due to health reasons! No doubt...he's missed to Justin's right...as are his rich baritone voice blending in that haunting...wonderful Moody Blues harmony...his occasional lead vocals...and trademark flute! Norda Mullen is a VERY talented musician...and is an excellent replacement...she's a lady too...so obviously the harmony vocals are going to sound different...what did you expect ?
Justin Hayward and John Lodges's Onstage Energy :
Are you looking for "The Who Plays The Moody Blues" ? Personally seeing them live...and owning all of the best DVD's...Montreux in 1991...the concert at Red Rocks and Royal Albert Hall...there's not a glaring difference onstage ! I don't recall either of them EVER being known for onstage gymnastics !
Justin Hayward and John Lodge Looking Bored And Disinterested:
Isn't that a bit of a reach ? Watch the interview...they're both very cool and laid back...their facial features have that look ! They're are doing everything they've always done and are supposed to do onstage !
Justin Hayward Intentionally Singing Off-Key :
ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING ! Pardon the computer catch phrase....enough said on that point !
"Nights In White Satin" :
Sounded great to me as always...BUT...it would have been nice to have Graeme do the narration !
This concert is fresh and different...with the addition of material not included on previous DVD's...and it's definitely a TREAT ! That's why you should trust me....buy...watch and enjoy this magical Moody Blues
concert experience !
