Delta 36-136 w/Makita 1214FL Miter Saw
I'm a homeowner and use this stand with a Makita 1214FL Miter Saw. I keep the Saw in the garage so this stand makes it very easy to lug the saw all around my property for my various construction/remodeling projects. The stand is pretty heavy but that also makes it a very sturdy platform. I would have rated this stand higher except for the design/construction of the roller assembly, see "Cons" below. If I had to use this stand everyday and change roller settings multiple times a day, I would rate it lower. Overall, a good buy for my needs.
PROS:
-The stand is well built, very sturdy, and stable folded or open.
-Stand folds and unfolds easily.
-Rolls across lawn with little difficulty other than weight (saw and stand together weigh around 130lbs).
-Good price
CONS:
-Rollers stick while being raised or lowered, should be able to raise/lower with one hand instead of having to wiggle rollers up/down. Not a big deal, just annoying.
-When extending or closing the roller on the handle side of the stand (opposite the wheels), you need to raise the rollers all the way to clear the stand handle. Wouldn't be a "Con" if rollers raised/lowered smoothly.
-Need to readjust height of rollers whenever extending for longer stock. Too much play in roller extension tubes/slides.

TOO HEAVY
Nice piece of STEEL. Had it been made with aluminum they would have a winner. I kept the heavy lug wish I would have returned the stand.

Fabulous Toy
I bought this miter table for my husband. He saw it on the show, Cool Tools and of course had to have it. What he said about the table is that it's on wheels and can be easily stored. I agree with this because our house has limited space.

Delta saw stand
Very good stand for the money. Works really well with my DeWalt Miter saw. The directions were a little diffucult to understand, but I made it. Very easy to use and portable.
